Jonathan was very pleasant, kept us informed of his schedule and arrived as planned. After inspecting the door, his quote recommended more items than needed (additional hinges and cables) and his repair estimate was more than twice the cost of two competitors. Ended up just paying the consultation cost and not going with A1 for the repair. Overpriced estimate. Reasonable priced inspection.
- MSMateus Silva5 days ago2.0Too expensive ! I called them because my garage door wasn’t opening anymore. Guy that came was very nice. He obviously offered me a new door but I wanted to fix it. He tried a fix that cost me $500.00 and that didn’t fix the door. After that, he told me that I’d need a new door and because to fix it’d be too expensive. Then he had to call a sales person. Their cheapest version has same material as M&M, less warranties and it costs around 1000 dollars more. If you’re looking for affordability or repairs, this shouldn’t be your company.

The only issues I had was I felt I was continuously being sold more services. I also thought the price of $1200 for two springs and cable was very high. Ten years ago I paid $240 for the same service. Did prices really go up 5x since then? Seems like the parts are about $200. Is labor, overhead, and profit really $1000? Most likely I will shop around more next time.
- JWJudy WesolowskiJan 1, 20265.0Our service tech, Joe Lewis was great. He came out on a Sunday to address our door opener. Turned he needed to order a circuit board. It did take a bit to get the part but as soon as it was in A1 Garage called to schedule an install date the next day which happened to be New Years Day and Joe, with his big smile, was back to install the new board and to reconfigure our remote controls and our vehicles. He also lubricated all moving parts on the door. We highly recommend A1 Garage!
- JEJerry EluskieDec 19, 20255.0I called for a garage door inspection and was able to get an appointment within a week. This was not an emergency call. Dakota Klee was my tech for the inspection. Dakota was very friendly and listened to my concerns. During the inspection, he pointed out and showed me areas of concern. He provided me with multiple options with no pressure. I was impressed that he had everything in his work truck so we didn't have to order parts or schedule a future appointment. Dakota was very thorough and professional. Being a skilled tradesman myself I could see that he took pride in his work. He had to stay late into the evening to finish the job and didn't leave until he went over everything with me. I am very happy with the work that was completed and that he didn't leave a mess for me to clean up. I would highly recommend A1 garage door service for your garage door needs.
