  Devante performed exceptionally well today. He was very professional, polite, and very thorough in all aspects. I greatly appreciate his detailed explanation of the necessary work to be performed on my behalf. I definitely will be contacting A1 Garage Door Service in the future as the need arises. Furthermore, I would like to highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a garage door service company that retains personnel who take pride in their work. Devante is a perfect example. I. am totally satisfied with the services I received.

  I’ve had terrible service from this company from the belittling from their employees to the shotty work. I do not recommend this company to anyone if work is not done properly you will have to get a separate company out just so they will tell you that they can fix their mistake. I have been told by the customer service that they do work on commission and then lied to by another technician. This company digs a hole they can’t fix and tries to force your hand in buying everything you don’t need.

  My garage door would start to close but would stop n reopen. Called A1. Tech came over and explained what needed to be done. Cost $400. Been an about 4 months n problem is happening again. This time I researched the possible issues n now believe I was talked into paying for what I didn’t need. First thing tech told me I needed a new rubber pad for bottom of door ($300). In researching this it had nothing to do with the problem I had. Next he told me the light bulbs in my opener were interfering with the sensors n removed them. That seemed strange since it was never a problem before. Next he started talking about other parts of door that should be replaced. Think I got sucked into repairs I didn’t need. The more I read it pointed to basically one problem. The sensors needed to be adjusted. Didn’t need to spend $300 for a rubber strip on bottom of door that didn’t look worn out. Don’t think my sensors were ever adjusted properly n now the same problem has is starting again. Plus door was never adjusted properly n air is coming through the bottom of my door. Can see the light between the rubber and cement. A1 might be a decent company but beware of the person sent to do the job. I trusted A1 to do what was right. I should have done more research on my problem. They let me down. Now I’m right back where I started and out $400. Live and learn. From what I have learned A1 has independent contractors that tend to find more work than is necessary which increases the cost to the homeowner and the profit for the repair man.

  My door was last serviced in '91 and was not sounding great. Justin R. Was very kind and respectful and I did not feel like he was pushing any parts on me, but showed me what was going on with my door and sold me only what I needed to get it working smoothly again. I'm sure it could have been done cheaper elsewhere but It seems the techs put in genuine time and care in the work they did ensuring everything was aligned and well balanced. Will 100% call them again when my opener from the 80s stops doing its job.

  I am very pleased with the services done by A1 Garage Door Service. The customer service representative Alexis that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and professional. I was able to get an appointment right away. My technician Rose Justin was also extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained our best options for repair. He was able to install an entire new opener, track, rollers for the door, and a bracket in the freezing cold within a couple hours. He was very kind and courteous! He even offered to grab coffee on his way over! A1 is also very dedicated to safety as I was informed as to who would be showing up at our home to make the repairs with all of the proper logos and branding. I received courtesy reminders of my appointment window. My technician Rose Justin called on his way to give us the heads up on his arrival time which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend A1 Garage Door Service.
