Great Dane came through again! The tech was Mihali and he was professional, took time to explain what the problem was and the solution that was needed. Answered all my questions. Not only was he professional, he was also personable with a sense of humor. Great Dane will continue to be my go to company! Rick

Our furnace quit working on Saturday 1-3-26, had to call for emergency service which was going to be a little more money than normal ($295) the technician came out and was unfortunately unable to fix what was wrong on the spot, I understand how that works, as I'm a union electrician IBEW local #58 and actually do service calls (high and low volt) so I know about ordering parts and not necessarily being able to fix something on site that day, but the tech from Great Dane narrowed it down to the relay input output board which made sense, even though I figured that was the issue, there's nothing I can do about it more or less LOL! So they ordered the board and came out today 1-6-26 and installed it within an hour, everything is working fine now, he was correct on what was malfunctioning... I did pay a little more than I would have liked, 2 trips, relay board and installation was like $750, but at the end of the day, I'm not a furnace technician lol so I'm good with it, we did get the maintenance plan for both furnace and AC which we needed... They were able to come out, order parts and fix the furnace within 3 days, some other companies couldn't even come out for a week!!! All in all they showed up, fixed the problem and were professional, that's all I could ask for, thanks Great Dane!!!

Excellent service. Dominic came out on a Wednesday for our biannual service, found that one of our heating elements was cracked. Unfortunately we had to replace the furnace, but with help from Steve we only had to wait until Friday morning to have a new one installed. The workers were friendly, efficient, cleaned up after themselves and made sure that everything worked before they left. We've been working with Great Dane for over a decade and look forward to many years of great service to come. Thank you for keeping our home safe and warm!!!

They guys did a great job fixing my electrical but after they left I realized my furnace wasn’t working. I called the office and was told that to have the guys come back to find out why it wasn’t working I would be charged again after hours call or a HVAC service call! And asked if I could wait until the next day- with no heat in 20 degree weather! I discovered they had just forgotten to turn the furnace switch on. So all is well but not happy that they wanted me to pay for something that was their doing.

We requested a technician due to an issue with inconsistent heating and cooling in a few rooms throughout our home. We have a >25 year old furnace so we knew a recommendation for a new system was likely. I specifically asked for someone to assess our ducts, in addition to the furnace. They were able to schedule a technician to come out within a few days. The technician spent about an hour looking at the furnace and taking measurements. He didn't show us any pictures, but he said he used a camera. After the inspection, his conclusion was that we needed a new furnace. He said he could potentially get someone out for a quote that afternoon. The shocking part was that he told us: "one heat exchanger tube has a hole." We asked if that was dangerous/urgent because of the risk of carbon monoxide. He said it was not and that we'd be ok. He knew we had a small child in the house. He left the furnace running and scheduled us with the salesman for a quote that afternoon. We went on to get additional quotes for a new system. Later that week, I called Great Dane because we spent $130 for them to tell us verbally that we needed a new furnace. We already knew that. I was disappointed he said there was nothing we could do with the ducts and didn't give us any documentation. I requested the report from the tech. They sent me the report later Friday. That evening I read the report and it said: "WARNING we have found an unsafe condition in your appliance that may be dangerous until repaired. We have left the gas supply and the power switch to the appliance in the off position. Our Technician will document the actual condition and take pictures to share if available. Your Technician will also review all options available and provide a quote to repair or remedy the issues found. ** Unit is UNSAFE for OPERATION **" I read this report four days later after being told verbally that we were safe. The furnace had been running the entire week. It was very stressful to find this out on Friday night and not know which to believe - what he told us in-person or what he wrote in his report. We ended up getting five total quotes for a new system. Another company came in to quote and the gentleman identified a pretty basic issue with our main supply line. It was a $50 fix. So there was an issue with ducting, but the Great Dane tech missed it. The quote from the salesman was pretty high. He only offered us two top-of-the-line options. He didn't ask whether we wanted a mid-grade or lower option. We received five total quotes and Great Dane's was the second most expensive. Based on the bad experience with the tech and the salesman, I cannot recommend this company. I cannot come up with any positive reason why the tech would tell us verbally that there's a small leak, but we're safe, and leave the gas and furnace on. Then, write the complete opposite in his report.
