  I called American Sewer for a clogged toilet, and Ryan D. fixed the problem quickly and very professionally. The service was fast, clean, and done without any damage or concerns. Ryan D. was knowledgeable, respectful, and explained everything clearly. I truly appreciate the great service. I highly recommend American Sewer for any plumbing or sewer issues at your home. Excellent 5-star service!

  I would give them zero stars if possible. Do NOT use this company unless you want to repair thousands of dollars worth of damage in your home caused by their employees. An employee named Chris came to my home to unclog a drain. He proceeded to drag a huge piece of industrial equipment through my home and up my stairs despite me telling him they typically start in the basement at the main line. He absolutely destroyed my hard wood stairs on the way up my stairs as well as my bathroom floor that was only a few years old. He appeared under the influence of something. It cost me over $1000 to replace my flooring in the bathroom and I cannot afford the repairs needed to my hardwood. A manager came to view the damage and gave me back the $100 it cost for their services. That was my mistake allowing it because now I cannot take this to small claims court where it should have went. Please learn from my horrible experience hiring these far from professionals. Every day I look at my extremely damaged hardwood is a reminder that this company should not be in business still.

  Had Nate from American Sewer Cleaners out today because we had a gurgle in our tub drain every time we flushed the toilet. We had a Plumber (from another company that serves Davison MI) come out and he “looked” at this and that but by the time it came to tell prognosis the estimate was anywhere from $1100 to let’s say $3500. The middle to high end would have required them to cut the wall where the vent pipe is (repairs on home owner) to even determine if it was a clogged vent pipe (which) it wasn’t. Gave them my $125 just to come out and ended up calling American Sewer Cleaners and their guy Nate Wheeler came out, diagnosed the situation and began a process of elimination. To make a long story shorter, turns out the issue that was causing the gurgling had nothing at all to do with the vent pipe, turns out it was just a partial blockage (not enough to slow drain that much) in the bathroom sink drain that was restricting the vacuum/air flow. Bottom line is Nate was able to figure it out, fix it and it only cost us a fraction of what Davison Plumbing quoted us not to mention how it saved us $ in repair costs for cutting into the wall (for absolutely no reason). Nate was very professional, very thorough and explained everything that anyone would be able to understand. I will always make American Sewer my 1st call from now on.

  First off, the workers are always great and get the short end of the stick. I have no issues with their workers. Now, the ladies (especially Rachel) in the office is another story. I get me having surgery or a medical condition is not your problem, but you don't have to be condescending over the phone when I'm just asking for information on our warranty and then to get EXCITED about voiding our warranty because your office workers give the wrong info out regularly and misinform your on-site workers. She was so absolutely rude and mean, "good luck with your medical condition" laughing to other workers about something I can't even control. Real mature, real professional. I wish I had it recorded. Then in the voicemail stating our warranty is voided she was so giddy with glee it made me sick to my stomach, when they already had all of the information that apparently "voided" our warranty. I'll definitely be saving the voicemail for further help with this. I've also heard them take the same tone with their workers when they are reporting in costs while I'm standing right there, then the worker has to apologize for their behavior and explain how crappy the office women are, so this isn't a one time thing. We had them come out and do a flush, they gave us a six month warranty, which I'd hope to receive after almost $400 for a FLUSH. They quote you the most miniscule price, then charge your for additional services almost immediately. ( I get this is pretty standard, but to charge for an additional worker who mostly stood there for our crawl space, then they only quote 50ft of line then charge by the extra 50ft bundle, not by the actual length of extra cord they use unless you complain. So make sure you aren't overcharged and ask how much extra length they used. We aren't even getting our warranty for the services we paid for. Horribly run company with mistreated workers and extremely selfish and awful ladies in the office. You don't know everyone's situation, and as a veteran struggling with extreme mental health issues, major depressive disorder, and physical health issues, this entire situation is so horribly awful and will stick with me WAY longer than your little joke to your friends will. I hope it was worth it, your entire office deserves to be fired for treating people the way you do. Oh and she swore at me on the phone and was extremely rude when I just tried to call and ask for more information about the warranty, calling back and asking for another worker got me the same treatment. Her entire demeanor is angry victim karen who wants to make everyone else feel bad because she hates her job because she's bad at it. I believe in karma and can't wait until Rachel gets hers.
