  We have been working with Carpet Mart for the past 2 years on remodel projects. Starting in the kitchen, moving on to the master bathroom and just finishing up our basement. All of our floors and tile were perfect choices! Thank you to John and Tom for there knowledge on tile and flooring and to guide us to the best choices for our home!

  After 40 years of living in a house built in the 1950's, my husband and I had a vision on how to update our kitchen. We switched out our brown cupboards with black handles to a medium gray. Our floor was covered with ugly brown/red indoor outdoor carpeting. We needed that replaced and the carpeting in the dining room removed. The floor in the dining room is beautiful hardwood. I wanted tile that incorporated both the gray from the cupboards and the brown from the dining room floor. We found the perfect Stanton brand quality tile at Carpet Mart. They came highly recommended by friends. John took the time to show us different options. He had his floor guy come to our home to measure and gave us a reasonable estimate. When it was time to consider backsplash tile, we went back to Carpet Mart. The guys there were always friendly and informative when it came to us making our choices. We're very happy with the service we received; the cost of the floor and backsplash tiles; the removal of our old carpeting and laying of the new tile; and, the finished look of our kitchen. We highly recommend Carpet Mart for their quality products and their high level of customer service! D.J. & John Rogers

  The carpet has transformed my ugly bedroom. They helped me find a carpet remnant that would work well. The installers did a great job. And it all cost less than I anticipated. A+.

  Warning….BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! They will be extra attentive and nice at first in order to get the sale but if an error is made or you are unsatisfied with something all the great customer service and niceness changes at that point. My husband and I are so disappointed with our customer experience with Carpet Mart. We took our time to select a medium dark gray colored remnant with natural under tones with Miss Opal. The sales lady, Miss Opal went back to grab the item number after we set down to complete the order. She had to grab the wrong item number. Something told me to inquire how they make sure we get what we selected. Instead they installed a light grey silvery type carpet with white undertones. It took almost six weeks for an installation date. On the day of our installation the carpet installers were 3 hours late and arrived almost at sun down. The only light they had to install the carpet was a small flood light which we provided. By the time the carpet was rolled out and installed it was dark outside. We basically stayed out of the living room during installation. After they installed it, we asked for a remnant, only to discover they installed the wrong color. Yes, we bare some responsibility on our end too. Should have asked more questions and looked at the remnant after they unrolled it. But the events following is where we really have a problem. I called Carpet Mart the next morning and spoke with Tom and John. I was not rude or irritated. I just wanted to know if they had any options available to rectify the mix up. Both were very unkind to me. John in particular was very condescending and belittling. My husband thought he was going to have to take over the phone call because John was so rude. He did not apologize for the error. Took no responsibility on their end. Did not even try to offer a mutual solution . Couldn’t even say, ‘we are so sorry for the mixup’ which would have been enough to satisfy us. He basically accused us of buyers remorse. We don’t even know if what they installed is what we paid for. My husband and I are planning on building a new home and we were considering using their services but with customer service like that, we’ll pass. I had even pick out some flooring and tile I wanted to purchase for our present home. Thank God we found out what kind of people we would have been dealing with before giving them any more of our money. Shame on Carpet Mart. I really felt degraded and disrespected after talking with John. I never raised my voice at him or responded to him in the way he did me. No customer deserves to be treated or talked to in the manner he did me. Don’t be fooled by the smiles and friendliness. Make sure you take a picture and a sample of any remnant if you decide to purchase from them. Take heed to this post.You’ve been warned.
