Our Amish builders offer various warranties, but they all cover craftsmanship defects. This includes issues clearly resulting from the builder's work, such as leaky roofs or incorrectly installed windows and doors. We recommend documenting any problems upon delivery with photos or video and informing us promptly. We'll arrange for repairs. However, normal wear and tear, such as dings, dents, paint chipping, or door sagging, isn't covered. We partner with the finest Amish builders in the region, which is why warranty claims are extremely rare.

For optimal site preparation, ensure clear access from the road to the installation site, checking for obstacles like trees and power lines. Choose a level location to ensure proper airflow and door operation. Our delivery typically involves using a 'mule' machine, similar to a forklift with outdoor tires, which can handle most terrains accessible by a small car without 4x4 traction. Have shims, pavers, or 4" blocks ready for leveling. We recommend a concrete pad slightly larger than the structure as the best base, followed by crushed concrete. Other crushed stone options are acceptable, but avoid round stones like river rock or pea gravel. Direct ground contact is possible due to our treated lumber runners, but this may lead to future leveling issues or floor rot if airflow is restricted.
