- MBMatthias BohlerDec 16, 20255.0We used Reynold's Custom Woodworks for a dream kitchen project in NE Massachusetts. We scoured our options for top quality cabinet options and wanted to be sure to find only the best and most trustworthy people to work with on this big project. We heard horror stories about run of the mill large cabinet manufacturers and big box options and we wanted none of that. We wanted fine quality inset cabinets, fairly priced with a company that we could trust from install to after the sale. This company delivered in spades. Kris the owner was incredibly responsive to our needs as we explored kitchen configuration options from the very beginning of visioning our project. He was never pushy or salesy, rather he was always authentic and had our best interests in mind. The team that delivered and installed the project were absolutely topnotch. The inset cabinets are beautiful. The custom paint and quality of the cabinets are everything that we had hoped. We had lofty expectations for this project. If you are looking for a top notch cabinet company for your project, you just found it. I recommended Kris and his team without any hesitation. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

There were numerous errors e.g. the doors on one cabinet were configured improperly, then modified to conceal this mistake, revealing open screw holes in the face frame. We made numerous attempts, to rectify this situation in good faith. Once payment was made, this job was effectively abandoned. In the spirit of fairness, we have consulted with local trained cabinet professionals... "There was/is no question as to the deficiencies of this project". Too bad.

How do we get started?
To initiate the process, we require some basic information. Please provide approximate dimensions of your space, measured to the nearest inch. Include window measurements from trim to trim. If you're maintaining your current layout, measuring your existing cabinetry will suffice. A hand-drawn bird's-eye view of your kitchen with these dimensions is ideal for our initial assessment.
Do you come to my house to measure?
Absolutely. Prior to commencing any construction, we conduct an on-site visit to take precise field measurements. This step is essential to ensure accuracy in our custom cabinetry design and manufacturing process.
How does the design process work?
Once we have your space dimensions and preferences, we begin creating designs. We typically generate 3-4 different layouts, exploring various appliance placements and work station configurations. Our designs often introduce innovative kitchen layouts that clients may not have previously considered.
How much will it all cost?
Providing an accurate cost estimate requires comprehensive information about your project. Each kitchen is unique, reflecting individual preferences and requirements. After gathering necessary details and creating initial designs, we can provide a preliminary quote for your custom cabinetry project.
Do I need to find someone to install my custom cabinetry?
We offer installation services for 95% of the kitchens we create. Our custom cabinets are designed with installation in mind, maximizing storage and minimizing seams. If you prefer to use your own contractor, we can communicate directly with them to ensure a smooth installation process.
Can you fix my existing cabinetry?
We specialize in custom cabinetry creation and installation. Our services do not include repairs or modifications to existing cabinetry.
What are my paint color options?
We offer color matching capabilities for any shade from major paint manufacturers. To ensure your satisfaction, we provide a color sample for your approval before proceeding with the final finish.
What are your custom cabinets made out of?
Our cabinet boxes are constructed from pre-finished maple plywood, regardless of the finish. We use 3/4" plywood for sides, tops, bottoms, and shelves, with 1/2" plywood for backs. Clear-coated doors are solid wood, while painted door frames are maple with MDF panels. Face frames are solid wood, and our dovetailed drawer boxes are maple with 3/8" bottoms for durability.
Will my dishes fit in your inset cabinetry?
Our upper cabinetry is designed to accommodate standard dishware. We construct our upper cabinets with a 13" depth, providing 11 1/2" of internal space. For clients requiring deeper cabinetry, we can customize to any depth specification.
Do you have anything in stock?
As a custom cabinet shop, we do not maintain pre-made inventory. Each piece we create is tailored to a specific client's order and specifications.
