- AGAdam GinsbergOct 26, 20251.0I have been a customer of united rentals for over 12 years renting at least 5 to 6 lifts a year. My last experience with them will be my last time renting for sure. After delivering my lift to a non parking area on a random street in portland rather than the address that was given to and confirmed with the office and driver. I was charged an extra delivery fee for them to move the lift to the right location. No matter how i explained the situation, their office forced me to pay the extra delivery charge even after I sent pictures (see below) and their driver confirmed he abandoned the lift on the street. United rentals was NOT professional at all and I would recommend if you are a local business to use a local rental company rather than a faceless corporate rental company. You will definitely get better service.
