  Recently back in December 2024 had spray foam installed in our Attic in Biddeford we use Northeast for a couple crawl spaces and some of our rentals previously and everything worked out well however in this situation in my attic which is the third floor of the house we have had off gassing since December 19th that it was put in for the first few weeks we figured it was cold out winter time and it was taking longer to off gas, for the first 6 to 8 weeks we really suffered we spent a few nights in a motel room to get some relief and realize we need to go back home because of our pets I have one that's older and it was hard being away from home if I had a second home that's where I would be, however as of April 16th we are still experiencing strong smell first second and third floor it's different smells in each floor I believe that the smell is coming down the framing of the walls they're hollow in our house because it's an old house that was never insulated so the fumes are still coming down the balloon framed construction and it is all we smell our eyes are still burning we have headaches it's the worst situation I've ever had to deal with in construction and nobody has been on my side everybody from Northeast spray says they can't smell it go figure as well as the manufacturer says nothing is wrong with their phone the only thing that I can do to prove that there is still off gassing and we're having health issues is to pay $2,500 to 3500 to have an air test before as Northeast says they will do anything as far as they're concerned they've washed their hands of it the first guy that came said that he can't smell because he had covid the second guy that came which was is a foreman or was a foreman says that he really can't smell because he is so used to the product then a team of them came and accused of having mold which is not the situation at all so I am stuck with this dilemma and don't know which direction to go in I would caution having spray foam from BASF installed in your home. Early on I was told that they could do an air test that never developed into anything just not happy at all living in a house that I just moved into in September and wake up and go to sleep with that smell and I irritation and headaches it's terrible and we don't know what we're going to do at this point I would be interested to know if anybody else's experiencing this issue I see someone wrote that they had a problem with off-gassing 2 years ago and had to tear their house down with no one insurance a lot of reviews are from several years ago, we have people that have come in the house for a few minutes and they say they can smell something but they really can't pinpoint it but when we have people come over that stay longer periods of time that's when they can start to smell it and absorb what's going on living here is a different story we don't know what it's doing to our health but both of us have not been feeling good for several months we are following up with our doctors on allergist and blood testing currently

  Very positive all around experience from the first site visit with the estimator to the crew spraying the foam. They did a great job. The work done was thorough, clean, and neat. They were very competitive on price.
