  I called for an estimate, and someone came out a few days later. The gentleman was polite and seemed knowledgeable, taking the time to explain what needed to be done before giving an accurate estimate, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, no one showed up on the scheduled day, and I haven’t received any follow-up calls or responses despite leaving messages and texts. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-through.

  I am only rating overall customer service experience. This has no basis on their work, as they never made it out to my house to actually do any. TL;DR: this company lacks professionalism and customer support. Phones never get answered, and crews scheduled to arrive frequently no-call no-show. Their pricing is enticing but I quickly became worried that their quality of work would represent their quality of customer service. Detailed experience: I contracted this company to install internal French drain on one wall and sump pump in my basement. They quoted me at about $6,000 which is more than fair given that other companies in Allegany county were quoting $10,000+. Not to mention they offer financing which is great for someone who is juggling recent wedding and newborn expenses. The number listed is the boss’s cell phone, which he hardly ever answers. The 1st scheduled day of service, I took off work to wait for them to arrive. They no-call no-showed. I called the boss several times to no answer. Eventually he “got service” and returned the call 2 hours after the estimated start time. Apparently his crew tried to call my work phone (initial call that scheduled the inspection was from that line, and I explicitly said multiple times to not make that number the primary contact number). His crew foreman then called my cell said he couldn’t make it until 12 because they “needed to get materials” (don’t you think that should’ve been accounted for beforehand?). I informed him that I could only take off work in the morning and couldn’t wait around for him to arrive. His answer? “Just leave the door open for us” sorry, but no. I called boss back to reschedule. He personally guaranteed they would be on time next time, and he would be there with me to wait until they arrive if something happens and they are running late. Confidence revived. Fast forward to 2nd schedule date. Take off morning of work again, patiently waiting for crew to arrive. No-call no-show. Boss won’t answer his phone. No other contact information online anywhere. Eventually I get a call 2 hours after estimated time (again) from new crew saying their dump truck broke down and they had to drive to Baltimore and back before they could trek out to my house. They pushed it back one more day. I thought “hey, things happen. Must be just bad luck. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here.” I asked the crew lead if he could guarantee he would be at my house the next morning. He said “yes, absolutely. I’ll be there myself.” Confidence wavering. On the 3rd schedule date, I expect them between 9-10am. I get a text at 8:07 from the crew lead I spoke with the day before saying that they are down 2 crews because they have to get tested for COVID due to exposure from getting the new dump truck. Since this was the 3rd time they gave an excuse for not following through with their promises, I will be looking to spend my money elsewhere. If they can’t be professional enough to arrive when they say they will, or call the customer ahead of arrival time if something happens, or even answer the phone is customer calls with questions, how am I to believe their quality of work will be any different? Confidence lost. P.S. I actually lost money dealing with these issues, since every time I thought they would arrive with jackhammers for demolition, I had my wife and baby drive to my mothers for the day while they worked with the loud equipment. EDIT: star rating bumped up from 1 to 2, as I realize a few days later that a bad review hurts everyone at the company, when not everyone was at fault. While all parties lacked proper communication, Steve and Dwight (those that came to my house for a quote) are extremely friendly and knowledgeable within their trade. If they managed to arrive on time and get the job done, I have no reason to believe that they would not give quality work. However, it might be a headache to reach that point..

  We had an interior french drain installed, AA was very professional, got the job done quickly and the right way. Highly recommend.
