March 2026: Atlantic Blue, contrary to their response (below) to my original review, has yet to reach out to attempt to right this wrong. Standing up to do the right thing and back their services over the long haul isn't part of their mission statement. Recommend reviewers look elsewhere for their water services. ------------ Original review: Four years ago, they replaced my water pressure tank and several failing fittings, and installed a reverse osmosis (RO) system. Given the cost of this work, I expected durable materials, proactive recommendations, and transparent guidance. Unfortunately, both experiences have left me disappointed — and more importantly, concerned about trust. Regarding the pressure tank: during installation, their team very likely observed an older, visibly corroded metal well intake pipe that had likely been in place for nearly 20 years under prior ownership. Fast forward to today — I noticed heavy white corrosion on the 4.5-year-old brass fitting and an active water leak. Given the risk of catastrophic failure, I called for urgent service. To their credit, they arrived within two hours, which I appreciated. However, I was then told the metal pipework was not covered under the tank warranty and that it should be replaced with stainless steel — which they acknowledged would last longer and resist corrosion better than the prior installation — at a cost of $1,400. When a contractor identifies visibly corroded infrastructure during an install, I expect clear risk disclosure and upgrade options at that time — not four years later when failure is imminent and the homeowner has little choice. Now to the RO system: at installation, I was told the filters were widely available commercially and easy to replace. I later learned the filters are proprietary and only sold through water system companies — not readily available via retail as originally represented. That distinction materially affects long-term cost and flexibility. Years later, I called to ask how to sanitize the RO system myself. I was told it’s something only they can do and that they would handle sanitization when delivering the next set of filters (rather than shipping them), which I accepted. After the technician sanitized the lines, he casually told me, “You know you can sanitize the lines yourself.” That is exactly what I had asked about over the phone. I relied on their guidance, only to hear the opposite in person. For tradespeople working inside a home — especially on critical water infrastructure — trust and clarity are foundational. When guidance changes, material limitations aren’t disclosed up front, or foreseeable corrosion isn’t proactively addressed, it raises concerns beyond just cost. While I appreciate the prompt emergency response, the combination of reactive fixes, proprietary product limitations, and inconsistent communication has made this an unsatisfactory experience overall.

We had an emergency on a Saturday. I called to see if someone could come out. They said someone would contact us Sunday morning. We never heard anything. So we called plum bubble, and they came out in hours

We have used Atlantic Blue on several occasions to take care of various issues. The latest calling them to report that we had no water operation. The timely response was most appreciated. Austin Mann came out and performed several tests and explained all of our options and the costs of each. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very polite. We highly recommend this company for any water/plumbing issues.

We needed our RO hooked up to our new fridge. Austin came out to take care of it. He was very skilled he did an outstanding job. He triple checked his work to make sure everything was working perfectly. He was very patient and answered my long list of questions. Brandon came out to take a sample of water to test for radon. He never fails to exceed my expectations and goes above and beyond to make sure I am more than satisfied.

Atlantic Blue has serviced our plumbing needs multiple times since purchasing our home. Our general experiences have been good, but the pricing has been high. We have been happy to pay due to the high level service we typically are provided with. However, on this occassion a young technician named Jacob came out with an assistant to complete are water heater instalation. Jacob and the assistant struggled with professionalism. They were cussing in our basement, clanging equipment against the ground, making jokes about each others performance, and provided minimal information. It felt like having two teenage boys playing in our basement rather than professionals working. At the end of the service we contacted a manager to come out and check the work. Fortunately Josh, a supervisor, came out quickly and efficiently. He checked our concerns and corrected the issues. He was apologetic for the two boys behavior and left promptly. We were not offered financial refunds for the work they performed or discounts by any matter which was disappointing after having to take a full day off work and having to contact Atlantic Blue multiple times. We are hopeful that Atlantic Blue will reach out and make things right. In the future we would still reccomend their services, but would not welcome these two boys in our home again.
