  I just had a shed built in my backyard. It is my second shed purchased from Tuff Shed. I am so very pleased with the Clearstory model. It has exceeded my expectations. That said, what truly impressed me was the efficiency and speed the men took to build the shed. They wasted no time to unload and begin building immediately. Although building the shed went very fast, that did not mean that the skill and craftsmanship was sacrificed. The builders, Eddie, Will and Frank were excellent communicators and kept me informed of the progress even as I watched. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail. After the trim was nailed and caulked, the installers went around the structure and touched up areas where the paint was scuffed up or had a visible nail. Top Notch! I also want to call out James Crawford who offered excellent customer service. When I called Tuff Shed, I wasn't sure I articulated what I wanted. James listened to me as I described what my needs were for the shed. He helped me (virtually) build my shed based on what I needed and wanted. And after I put in the order, I decided to modify the initial order and add another element (Transom windows), James was quick to accommodate my request and make the change. Lastly, James also recommended the company who installed the stone gravel pit where the shed would be placed on. THAT team were simply great. They arrived on time and took no time in building the base where the shed would go. The attached photos is proof of the collaborative efforts between myself, James Crawford, and the building team. I can't recommended these guys enough. If I were to move and needed a new shed, I know who to call. Thank you.

  You would think when you buy the shed from Home Depot, they would vet these companies HD does business with. I should have read the reviews before I signed off with Tuff Shed of Baltimore. Most of the negative complaints are focused around the install office team. So far this has been a disappointment in communications with the install team. The communication process with the customers is poor. They gave me a install time of 8:am and did not show until 10:am. I had to wait outside the rental property for two hours. They are in no way respectful of the customers time. The salesman told me he would confirm the site was ok before the delivery and that did not occur until the 11th hour after I sent multiple e mails. When I called and tried to reschedule, Aimee and Ligia send you on e mail a list of new charges that they say you will incur if try to move the delivery time or ask for a change in date. The e mails I received from Ligia a bit terse and not oriented to customer service. Oddly enough on the phone she is pleasant. Just needs to sound better on e mail I guess. I am waiting to see how the install turns out and then I will amend the review. Update: Good thing I visited the install twice. When I went to make the final inspection, they had the wrong color on the shed. I spoke to the installer and after researching the order, they realized they had to paint it another color. They did do that and overall the installers did a good job. The shed looks great and its a quality product. The installation office has a little way to go in coaching and teaching the team how to communicate with customers on e mail and how to communicate internally so unnecessary frustration does not occur. I changed my ratting from a one star to a three star because the installers did a good job. I would consider using them again because in the end, the product was good, the installer was great and if you speak with Ligia (by phone, not e mail) she is fine.

  TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TERRIBLE INSTALL!! Be very carefull with this company! They will do a terrjble unsafe job installing something beyond the expectations of the contract and charge you to fix it properly. They will leave an UNUSABLE structure there for weeks and will NOT follow up with you. They are extremely hard to reach and basically have opted to ignore their mistake and hope it goes away. They were meant to level 5-8 inches in my yard....which apparently means "put on concrete blocks." Fine thats great. They put the structure on 22in blocks!! Its unsafe and unusable at that height. It was complete before I was notified and THEN the installer said "hey you should pour some footers" Their solution? Add more blocks, and if it must be moved I have to PAY FOR IT! Pay for it to be moved, partially demoed and rebuilt. Yup. They screwed up and I have to pay for them to fix. Avoid at all cost!!!
