After our previous HVAC provider (Garneski) sold their business and recommended Vito, we made the switch. Unfortunately, the difference in service quality has been night and day.
During both routine maintenance visits, Vito’s technicians have caused damage requiring additional repairs. Most recently, technician Jason Valladares worked onsite at my rental property for 5 hours before claiming the 60 amp circuit breaker had shorted. He told my tenants he needed parts from his truck and never returned. Hours later, he and another technician arrived but were unable to complete the repair. My tenants were left without heat overnight in winter, despite being told someone would return first thing in the morning.
A different technician, Daniel White, finally arrived late the following afternoon and implemented a temporary fix. While I appreciated getting the system operational again, his communication with both my tenants and me was unprofessional. Additionally, the office promised to send photos of the repair work, which never materialized.
Key issues:
∙ Technicians have damaged equipment during both service visits
∙ Poor follow-through and abandoned service calls
∙ Tenants left without heat overnight in winter
∙ Unprofessional communication
∙ Unfulfilled promises from the main office
I will not be using Vito’s services again and cannot recommend them to other property owners or homeowners seeking reliable HVAC service.

Vito Services is the plumber that my condo complex uses. I have had nothing but negative experiences with them — they rarely let us know when a technician is coming, and oftentimes we just receive a call that the technician is standing on my doorstep and someone (my parents, typically, as I can’t just leave my workplace on a dime due to the nature of my job, I work 40 minutes from my home, and the techs always come during the hours I’m at work, and never even make an effort to work around it or ask me when I’ll be home) has to rush over to let them in. Recently, due to the outdated nature of the radiators in my condo (an issue that is separate) we’ve been having heating issues. Once the heat was turned on in the unit, the radiators were heating the unit to about 86 degrees F. Opening the windows and using the A/C windows wasn’t helping, so we reached out to management, who sent Vito. The first tech who came to “fix” the radiator problem was supposed to tighten the valves to reduce the amount of heat coming out. Instead, he completely closed them, and condescendingly let me know that I’d regret this “on the first cold day of winter”. I was not aware that he had completely turned the radiators in my unit off until the temperature in my unit plummeted to 55 degrees F. We called management again, and a tech named Bertrand was sent to my unit yesterday. This was really my last straw with Vito, as Bertrand had no idea what he was doing. My mom had to again rush over to the unit in the afternoon, as we had not been informed he was coming once again, and then she spent over an hour watching as he muttered about not having the right tools to adjust the radiator valves, even though that’s what he was sent to fix. The only thing he ended up doing in the multiple hours he was in my apartment, carelessly stepping on my belongings with his dirty boots, was bleeding the radiators which had been bled already, but he didn’t bring his own bucket, so he used MY cleaning bucket, which typically holds my clean rags and cleaning supplies, to collect the black, disgusting water. Initially, he was pouring it down my toilet, which was gross enough as it was leaving a black residue on the porcelain, but whatever, grosser things go in the toilet. However, before he left, he started pouring it INTO MY SHOWER, where it clogged the drain and sat for hours, and when I climbed in to scrub it clean, left the soles of my feet stained BLACK with how disgusting the water was. The toilet was easy to clean, my tile- and stone-lined shower, not so much. The grout is now permanently stained black, despite scrubbing at it. And as if that wasn’t enough, he didn’t even fix the heat — he left after making a huge mess for me to clean up and fixing nothing. He wasted my mom’s time, he wasted my time, and he wasted Company time, and he didn’t even fix anything. Now Vito has to send another technician tomorrow who will presumably make another huge mess while they MAYBE fix my heat. If you can avoid them, avoid this company at all costs. Their techs are unprofessional, don’t care about being careful in your homes, and at worst will do nothing about the problem.
