  I’ve used Dixieland for years. They’ve always serviced all of my HVAC systems and installed my new units. Can’t say enough positive things about their service techs and office staff. Always professional and respectful of my home.

  Chris Bailey is very knowledgeable, friendly. Takes time to answer questions. Does NOT get frustrated when people follow Him closely or watch what He does. Knows oil furnaces Very Well!!! I am Very Pleased with the work Chris did both at Gateway Baptist Church & here at our house. Chris diagnosed our problems at Gateway Baptist Church perfectly. In so doing, I requested Chris to work on my personal furnace!!! Chris is GREAT!!!

  False promises to fill the tank and I still haven't received a refund. Do not go with Dixieland if you need Propane right way. I would have gotten a fillup for $2.00 a gallon with Ferrell had the funds been returned. Out of all the Propane Companies, Ferrell would have been the best option around Elkton. They are quick and understanding to people with small children.

  I have been a Dixie Land customer since June 2022 when I spent $6,000 to have them install a 500 gallon underground propane tank for our home. I chose them based on advice from a friend of mine whose husband worked there. She had nothing but good things to say about the company. My experience with Dixie Land has been pretty good for the most part until about two weeks ago. Seems like there are a number of negative reviews over the past month. I used the customer portal on Sunday February 15th to request a fill up of the propane tank. The tank had 30% so I thought it would not be an issue. In the past I've contacted them when it was less than 30% and had no issues. February 16th at 3:30pm they responded with a delivery window of March 9th through March 14th. They said that delivery window was not guaranteed and could be later depending on weather or earlier if they have availability. I was looking at 26 days to get to the end of the March 9th through March 14th window. Possibly longer depending on weather. We would run out of propane before that so I needed to find another provider. Imagine being a husband/father and telling your family hey guys we may not have heat or hot water for a couple weeks until we get a propane delivery. Not a great feeling. Finding another provider was easier said than done. Some places don't deliver to this area. Some are not taking on new customers. Others are just outrageous prices, and also not taking on new customers. Lol! Then I remembered seeing a local company called Bajaj propane. By this time, 7:50pm, everyone had closed for the day so I sent them an email hoping for a response the following day. Bajaj propane responded to my email in eleven minutes. That is not a typo. Eleven. Minutes. I figured I needed 250 gallons to get us through the rest of the winter and I would fill the tank again in the fall when prices aren't this high! They said sure they would be here early the next week. Monday February 23rd they made no deliveries because we had another snow event which makes sense. They delivered the 250 gallons on Wednesday morning, February 25th. From first contacting them to actual delivery was nine days. Nine days minus contacting them after hours on that Monday night and the snow event so really I feel like saying seven days is fair. The price? $2.459 per gallon. Dixie Lands price for the same quantity is $2.449. So I paid one penny more per gallon. Anyway crisis averted. I reached out to Dixie Land and told them to cancel my customer portal order. It was no longer needed. This morning I received an email from Dixie Land saying oops we filled your tank yesterday February 25th at 3:30pm. So I had ordered what I needed from Bajaj to get us through the winter. Then four hours later (and 12 days before their delivery window of March 9) Dixie Land shows up and adds 75 gallons the the tank to totally fill it. Now since it's less than 100 gallons I paid the most expensive price at $2.549 per gallon for those 75 gallons I didn't need. Seems they need some help in the scheduling, delivery departments.

  This was the first time I had a maintenance service on my 10+ yr old heat pump. Technician Alex B. did a very thorough inspection of the furnace and outside compressor. He took various meter readings and explained to me what they were and what adjustments he made as applicable. It was a good experience and a learning one as well. Alex was very professional knowledgeable and did an exceptional job. I will set up an annual Heater inspection going forward and will ask to be put on Alex's schedule in the future.
