  DO NOT USE DIXIELAND! Will allow customers to freeze because they wont hire enough drivers to accommodate their customers! Then, if they can't get out in a timely manner they charge $50 for a leak test because they allowed it to go empty. They also want an emergency fee of $230 because they can not deliver propane in a timely manner. Mean while the owners or whoever are pocketing the money instead of hiring drivers or they shouldnt take additional customers. Do not use dixieland!

  There was a time that Dixie's land and its prices and services really could not have been beaten. that is not true now. Not only do you have to wait almost almost 2 weeks for a delivery I discovered another company 20 cents cheaper per gallon in Aberdeen than Dixie is per gallon on heating oil. They say they will meet the price or even beat it but then why bother?? Secondly their "emergency service" was non-existent for us the tech said he would not come to see exactly what our problem was even though we had no heat on the coldest Sunday so we had to call someone else. Lastly their installation prices quotes are higher then others we received. So what was once a nice local company that you felt secure in for pricing and service.... is no more. I gave them two stars because the staff is pleasant to talk to

  Dixie Land Energy drops the ball this year on Christmas. Customer ( myself) goes without fuel through the Christmas Holiday and perhaps thru New Year's also. I was told that for $189.00 Dixie Land would deliver my fuel right away. Their delivery schedule was now Dec 28th- Jan 2. Leaving me without heat for more than 2 weeks.My situation began when I recieved a fuel grant from Energy Assistance. As soon as I knew Dixie Land had recieved verification I called them, told them I needed fuel and was told deliveries were being scheduled for Dec 29th - Jan 2. But I could pay $189.00 and Dixie Land would bring me fuel immediatly. I was floored, Dixie Land had my grant money of $500.00 and the only way I could get fuel was to wait or pay $189.00 immediatly. The lady i spoke to did not offer any other solution. The very next day I called Dixie Land again and a different lady answered the phone. She was nice and tried to help. She said she would put my delivery up on the board and maybe someone would see it and deliver fuel for me early. That did not happen. Today is Dec 26th still no fuel. I have been forced to use electric heaters, knowing my electric bill will be at least $400 more than usual. I lose both ways. I will never forget the winter of 2025 because of the fuel company I had chosen did not really care about one of their customers. Iam glad it was me though and not a customer that couldn't handle the situation or didnt have heaters. I hope Dixie Land overcomes their delivery issues and customer relations, in times like these being more kind and helpful to your customers goes a long ways. Merry Christmas!

  Dixieland energy is the best propane and energy services supplier in MD. Great customer service, prices, remote monitoring and actual people answering the phone(not A.I robocop). Professional drivers like #119 (sorry I forgot to ask his name) make sure to check for leaks and explain the process thoroughly and show respect for the customer. Don't go anywhere else, I have shopped around and Dixieland is the best. Whoever is the boss of driver 119 should give him a $2k holiday bonus

  Doesn't accept Crisis terms for people needing help getting heating oil refilled. When told I was out of heating oil, I was told that once Crisis got in touch (Energy assistance for people struggling financially at the moment) an oil delivery would be scheduled and oil delivered. I waited 4 days nothing. I called back and was told that until the money came through me reaching out for help was pointless. The promissory govt assistance notification wasn't good enough. No one called me to say there was an issue and no oil was coming. So when I stayed on hold for several minutes and I heard on the recording was about how Dixie land was for families I laughed because lies, Dixie land doesn't care if it's 20 degrees and you have no oil, the energy assistance program ment to help people is useless there. Great job Dixie land, could have at least been honest from the get go about an apparent issue instead of making a family wait for days oblivious without being able to have heating oil delivered. Btw still no oil for heat even though everything was done correctly by the energy assistance program. Literally called the energy assistance office this morning and told them to cancel it because why should they give you $702 when you do not comply and help those in need? 👎🏻
