  Very Poor Experience – Would Not Recommend We hired Makeover Construction (Julio & Jose-Ricardo) to hang and complete a Level 5 drywall finish in our home, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The quality of workmanship was substandard from the start. The crew appeared untrained, frequently used the wrong tools for the job, and left visible scratches and imperfections on the finished walls. Despite being contracted for a 3-week timeline, the project extended well beyond 7 weeks, causing significant disruptions to our overall renovation schedule. In addition to delays, their practices were careless and unprofessional. For example, in the middle of summer, they left doors open for extended periods, and failed to protect the indoor environment, resulting in excessive humidity, a pest issue (including mice and flies), and ultimately mold growth found in several rooms. When we raised concerns, the company offered no accountability or resolution. Leadership and project management were equally lacking. Communication was inconsistent, promises were not followed through, and neither the project lead nor the owner took responsibility for the outcome. In our experience, the company lacked both the technical skill and the professionalism required for high-quality construction work. We strongly advise others to either stay away or proceed with caution before thinking of hiring Makeover Construction.

  This company is honest, quick to respond, professional and completes excellent work within a fast time frame at a very reasonable price. There is no need to look elsewhere!
