  We reached out to Eugene from GloRem for basement remodeling (hybrid kitchen/bar, flooring, lighting, and tv wall with fireplace and custom benches). We did our project in 2 phases, and are 100% satisfied with everything! Our projects always started on time, and were finished in a timely fashion! Working with Eugene and his crew was a very pleasant, stress-free experience. Eugene is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help. Eugene was always available to address any concerns, to make sure that we were happy with everything from start to finish. We will absolutely be using GloRem again for future renovations, and strongly recommend you reach out to Eugene if you are thinking about basement remodeling or any other home projects!   We recently completed a full renovation of our previously unfinished basement with GloRem, and we could not be happier with the results. Eugene was the main contractor on the project, and he and his entire crew were friendly, prompt, clean, reliable, professional, hardworking, and extremely communicative from start to finish. They transformed our basement into a fully finished and functional space that includes a bedroom, bathroom, workout room, storage area, entertainment space, and a beautiful wet bar. The workmanship throughout was excellent—LVP flooring throughout the main areas, rubber flooring and wood accent walls in the gym, tile in the bathroom, and a quartz countertop for the wet bar all came together seamlessly. Eugene used Buildertrend to manage change orders, allowances, and payments, which made the entire process very transparent and easy to follow. We interviewed several highly recommended local contractors before choosing GloRem, and we ultimately felt Eugene was the best fit for our project. He was very precise with the budget and set appropriate allowances for the bathroom and wet bar, which helped us stay within our original budget without surprises. We would highly recommend Eugene and GloRem to anyone considering a basement renovation or home improvement project. Exceptional experience from start to finish.

  I had my basement fully finished by GloRem in the midst of the covid pandemic when materials such as wood were expensive, in short supply and high demand. I called them, with no prior knowledge or recommendations, just based off of their online reviews. The owner Eugene (not a sales rep) provided me a fantastic detailed quote (the day he came out) that was extremely reasonable, thoroughly itemized, thoughtfully explained, and lower than all of the others I received, given the amount of work I wanted done. They gave me a practical reasonably quick time frame to complete the large project. they started and finished the remodel right on time and right on budget (that can't be overstated!). they were extremely punctual, professional, and communicative. their contractors did amazing work and paid great attention to detail. the owner, Eugene, was often on site, always overlooking and performing work, always fixing any issues, and - most importantly - always went the extra mile for me (even on last minute requests). he was always very friendly (always wore a mask), never said no to my custom requests, made me aware of potential cheaper alternatives outside of his company for some custom options, and always worked to give me exactly what I wanted even if it took a little back and forth to get there. there's was a bit of expectation on my end - to keep the project moving - to pick out the materials I wanted them to purchase and install for my custom bathroom work. I didn't use a designer for this. I picked my custom materials from anywhere I chose to look online (home depot, amazon, wayfare, etc). they had no issues ordering those items for me, exchanging anything that was incorrect or broken, and installing everything. I ended up coming in under their projected budget by doing this, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm sure they're also willing to help work with you to find the look you want, if desired. all in all, I took a chance with this company based on their stellar reviews all over the internet and it definitely paid off. like all have said here prior to me, this is mostly everything you want in a contractor. I'll definitely use them again for any future projects. you'd be crazy not to give them a call and get a quick quote if you're looking to have a remodel done.

  Glorem LLC owner, Eugene finished my basement on time and quality was astonishing. Employees were very professional and reliable. I got few quotes ranging from reputed company and friends recommended locally operated companies. But Glorem quote was the best and was amazed by the final outcome. From start to finish was a smooth ride and really appreciate their knowledge/insight. I’d highly recommend them.

  We were looking to finish our basement and didn't have any solid ideas of what kind of layout we wanted. I met with 5 different companies and got a variety of ideas and just 3 quotes. GloRem was the lowest price quote for a layout that I liked best, so was an easy decision since we'd seen such good reviews about them. The final price of the project wound up being more than the quote because we chose expensive bathroom finishes and we needed to add an egress window. But Eugene was very gracious in reducing the cost of an egress window, since it was not in the original plan. This is the second major renovation I've done, and was a very different experience than the first. For one thing, we were given complete freedom to choose the bathroom tile, vanity, toilet, and everything else wherever we wanted. This was great, but made it very hard for us to make timely decisions. We were so late choosing the bathroom vanity that it delayed the end of the project by 4 weeks. But Eugene was always very patient with us and had no problem waiting until it came in. When we signed the contract, we were given a choice of (1) wait to start the project until they could focus on us and do it quicker or (2) start the project sooner, work when they have time, and eventually end sooner than option 1. We went with option 2, since we don't really use the basement and didn't expect much disruption. But I think maybe option 1 would've been better because we would've had a better idea of when each decision was expected. As it was, we often heard from Eugene just 3 or 4 days before they needed a decision from us (like floors or paint color). We were also surprised by the hours spent here in the evenings and weekends (my first project was all done 9-5 Mon-Fri). But they changed their plans without complaint the one time I requested that they not come on a Saturday. This was a long and time-consuming process for us, but we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Everyone who worked on our basement was friendly, professional, and did amazing work. I can't think of anything I want different than what I have. Eugene was very easy to reach with random questions throughout the project. I have his number stored in my cell and will probably keep it there for my next project.
