  They installed carpet on the stairs and landings, and vinyl tile in the kitchen. Dalton and Don were so nice to work with. Will definitely recommend them.

  It was supposed to be a simple job: cut 1' off both ends of the rug and bind (or so I thought that's what it was called). I call and was quoted one price over the phone to have the rug cut and binded. $3.50/linear foot, so $56. I called back shortly after because I found out the term I should have been using for the rug was "serged" and not "binded." She told me they could do it never mentioning there would be a difference in price - how was I to know? I showed up with the rug and was told by Don it would be more because it was being "serged." $5.50/linear foot, so $88. Don talked to man doing the work and called me back and told me it was even higher than the second price because he has a minimum to do the job. $100!! Just give me one price!!! Stop changing it!!! Absolutely unbelievable and ridiculous. Sketchy business practice. I'll pick up my rug and go somewhere else!!

  Fantastic experience from LVP ordering to install. The install team was especially appreciated. They were efficient, speedy, professional, and courteous. My sincerest of thanks to the whole team at Carpet Village. We will be using you for all of our flooring needs moving forward and highly recommend to others for the same!

  Crew showed up at 8:30... Got to complaining because they had to move my dressers and bulk furniture (which I WAS TOLD they provided as a service). As I told them to hold them to stay in the living room as I put my dog outside (which was in the basement because they were at the door), they ran to the truck and sped off. Didn't say a WORD...Just sped off! Here it is 9 o'clock, I'm writing this review and the store is not yet opened. FOUL SERVICE! Update: crew lied and said I was still sleep, my dog was running around (which wasnt the case or they would have gotten eaten), and that nothing was prepared. I've never in my LIFE seen such horrid customer service! THIS IS CRAZY!

  Carpet Village Original Review: 11/07/2016 (1 Star) Updated Review: 11/9/2016 (3 Stars): I requested Carpet Village come in, sand/refinish my hardwood floors and also replace some shoe molding. Stephen was very helpful with providing estimates and I went ahead and decided to go with them. They were able to complete the work within a week which worked out perfectly with my schedule. Unfortunately, after reviewing the work that had been done, I was very unimpressed. Bad shoe molding was used, a boot print was left in the wood, marks were left on the walls, and there were places on the hardwood that were clearly not sanded. They also managed to trip the power and failed to mention anything to me about it. I was not able to enter the home for a couple of days because of the floors, so the puddle under the fridge was a nice surprise as well as the spoiled food inside the fridge. I immediately contacted Stephen and he expressed concern and ensured me all these problems would be taken care of immediately. I reluctantly agreed to give them a second chance. The second time around, the floors looked much better and they managed to fix many of their mistakes. Unfortunately, if you are at the right angle you can still see the boot print, there are still some areas where the floor was sanded a bit uneven, and there are places where the shoe molding was placed very unprofessional like. I was charged the original amount we agreed upon but was given a bottle of floor cleaner. (I am a man of my word and accepted to pay them a specific amount; and although I do not believe they kept their end of the deal, I'll keep my word.) Overall, very nice folks running this business, but unfortunately the contractors they hired to represent their company did a sub-par job. I may use them again in the future for the simple fact that when I pointed out their mistakes, they were quick to address them and were very professional the whole time.
