  I contacted Tim, the owner, about getting a quote for removing two recessed lights, installing nine new recessed lights across two rooms, rewiring improperly wired air handlers, installing a 220 V outlet for an EV charger, and reorganizing my panel box. Tim was one of three electricians I contacted. Of the three, Tim offered a competitive price but was not the least expensive. However, during our consultation, Tim was the only one who crawled across the length of the house in the crawl space to inspect whether my air handler was I was right about the improperly wired air handler. Tim was also the fastest to respond with a quote and responded promptly (on Friday/Saturday evenings) to questions that I had about the quotes. His lead times were the longest, but given the reviews that I read online, I assumed that the demand for his work was a product of the quality of his work. My experience with Tim and his crew perfectly aligns with that conclusion. Tim and his crew arrived on time and began working immediately, and the work was completed very quickly. His crew was polite and remarkably careful in the work spaces, including protecting furniture and flooring. I expressed that I would take responsibility for any necessary drywall repairs that would result from their work. Tim's crew went out of their way to design the placement of their drywall cuts to require the simplest possible repair. The crew even saved drywall cut-outs generated while installing new fixtures to use for filling holes left by other removed fixtures. At a few points, the crew encountered some unexpected minor issues with the planned placement of some recessed lights. When the crew reached out to me to ask about alternative options, they were clear and articulate. It was easy for me to understand the issue and to offer a request for the workaround. I have been burned many times in the past with contractors from the region, so I was uneasy when I needed to contact electricians, but I was absolutely delighted by my experience with Tim and the Mast Electrical crew. I offer my highest recommendation for the workmanship, professionalism, and care provided by Mast Electrical. I guarantee that I will not bother getting quotes from any other electricians if I ever need additional electrical work done.

  Asked for an estimate to upgrade my panel box 2 weeks ago. Still haven't received any word. They set it up for a Friday afternoon to come look, didn't show up. Then I went home on my lunch break the following Monday and someone was sitting in my driveway. Didn't like that they showed up unannounced or to even call and let me know they were coming out. He started off by saying "are you the owner". Didn't even properly introduce himself. When I asked the guy what he was here for, with the thought they already been out, he just said "I was suppose to stop by Friday night on my way home but I forgot." As a contractor myself, I was expecting better customer service. Could've racked up more business opportunity for them. Still waiting on my estimate, but at this point you can keep it!
