He spend a few hours looking for the problem but thanks to his expertise, he found it and fixed it. He was on time, came in with a beautiful smile and was very respectful. Went up and down the steps like 50 times and didn't complaint. All employees I have meet so far have been amazing and their work is excellent.

- AIArielle InselDec 23, 20251.0I would not recommend Farnen & Dermer and I feel cheated. We bought a brand new HVAC system through F&D in 2020. They sold us on the 10-year warranty, which was too good to pass up. They require you to get maintenance on the system twice a year to keep the warranty and it’s about $200. We apparently missed one (which I already prepaid for) because the emails went to my husband’s junk mail and I wasn’t on the mailing list yet. So I had to pay for the maintenance again. And apparently it voided the labor warranty now. So… fast forward to last week when my heat wasn’t working, and I asked F&D to come out to look at it and do the maintenance on the machine. It turns out there was a refrigerant leak in the outdoor unit’s coil. To find the leak, it cost $975 to perform a test!! They also charged me the $200 for the maintenance when the machine was already broken!! To fix the machine they told me it would take 4-6 weeks to get the piece in and it would cost $6,800 to repair and I’d have to run my emergency heat for that time. I called the office crying asking if there’s anything they could do and Zach said he’s get back to me and never did. I found a local HVAC company that said they can get the piece in 7-10 days and it would cost a FRACTION of the price F&D quoted me (which was JUST the cost of labor). I’m sorry but they lost me as a customer for good. I feel taken advantage of. They charge an obscene amount. I will never work with them again. BEWARE!!!
