Very professional. Explained clearly what was being down and why. Happy with the end result!
Caleb and his crew installed my hybrid heat pump/gas furnace last week. They were very efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and worked seamlessly as a team. The entire install lasted 6 hours including a layman’s explanation of exactly how the system works. I highly recommend their service.

We appreciate Eric arriving early for what we considered an emergency situation at our home . Eric was very professionally and knowledgeable of replacing our hot water heater. He provided information on the various parts of the equipment.

WARNING: This company is practicing an imaginary system called planned obsolescence that this company for whatever reason is trying to convince their consumers with older units in their venerable state that their tech can not fix older units due to parts are no longer available. On Friday Jan 30, 2026 the tech arrived he sat down on a bucket and they claimed I need a board and a motor pressuring me to buy new for round $10,000; unnecessary repairs without physically testing my furnace, only to find out second opinion the next day all I needed was a new battery located inside my furnace and a clean filter that this angel of a tech had on his company work truck in this frigid weather that the Farnen & Dermer tech left my family that Friday Jan 30, 2026 the previous evening without any heat. WARNING
Misleading customers about repair feasibility is unethical sales tactics.

I felt that the company’s business model is to push you to switching out a system for 5-digit costs even when a component repair is a better option. We are moving so we don’t want that type of investment, which I shared with the tech. The tech only gave me a verbal quote on the repair, and gave me 3 separate formally documented $10,000+ system options. He also suggested that the part might be back ordered - no way of knowing when it would be available.
I was able to order the part online minutes after the tech left and it arrived the next day. I installed it myself and saved thousands vs their quoted repair cost. I am thankful as the tech did confirm what I thought was wrong within minutes of arriving.
FYI - when you book online and it says “no dispatch fee”, that doesn’t mean they won’t charge you for a visit. I was happy to pay for the diagnosis, but they should probably clarify that to avoid confusion.
