- PSPhilly Cheese steakApr 28, 20181.0They are the most expensive and don't explain their hidden delivery fee. I rented an excavator and they charged me 400 plus for the machine and another 400 plus delivery fee that was never explained to me. The result was I paid over 850.00 for one day rental and I lost money on the job instead of earning money. I cannot rent from these crooks. Other places like Jim's air rent brand new equipment for 259.00 for the entire day. I now give all my business to Jim's air which by the way gives excellent service. United rentals you need to change your ways and price yourselves back into the market. Unless your a huge company you can't afford United rentals.
