  I had a great experience with Eric who was my technician who installed my water heater. He was very kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything in a way that made sense, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone who is not only skilled but also willing to teach and make sure you understand what’s being done. I felt completely comfortable and confident in his work. I had an excellent experience with the company from start to finish. Scheduling was quick and easy, and they were able to provide same-day installation, which I truly appreciated. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and well-coordinated. It’s clear they value both professionalism and customer service. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing prompt, reliable service.

  From start to finish our experience with Heil was EXCELLENT! We were in an urgent situation and needed service quickly. Initially Heil did not pick up the telephone; however, Allison called me back direct with the BEST customer service and said, "We missed your call, how can we help you?" After I explained what was needed the communication was clear, concise, and very professional. Jeffrey was on site exactly when they said so and the service provided was exemplary. He fully explained each of the stages and the applicable charges. He left everything clean and in better shape than before we needed a plumber! I would definitely recommend Heil for all your professional needs. I'm saving their number as my "GO-TO" facilities contact! Support local business - support small business. No need for AI. Being authentic ALWAYS pays off. Thanks for a great experience.

  We contacted Heil Plumbing to address an issue with our washing machine waste line, which had been backing up for a while. It was very easy to schedule an appointment online. Ike came out and performed a thorough inspection of the sewer lines. He was prompt, professional, answered all of our questions, and was very transparent throughout the process. He also gave us two estimates, and the option we chose ended up matching the bill. So, no surprise charges! And Ike was definitely very much willing to help us out file the claim with insurance. As to the scope of the work, they did provide a written explanation laying out all the steps. We knew exactly what they would do -- camera inspection of laundry and kitchen waste lines (which showed that they were collapsed and had roots growing inside), drywall/floor removal, replacement of waste lines, etc.… They did everything except replace the floor, which would be on us. They also provided a 10 year warranty, which is pretty good. We were initially told the job would take three days, but it ended up being completed much faster. They redirected an additional crew, whose work was interrupted by a surprise snowstorm, to our home, which allowed them to finish the job in a single day. This really shows excellent management on their end. All in all, we highly recommend them (and we already have to some of our friends)!

  Early in the morning, I called Heil Plumbing after suspecting a gas leak in the basement. I was first greeted by an AI named Rosy, who sounded remarkably human. As soon as I mentioned the gas leak, she transferred me to Daniel, a real person, who scheduled an appointment for the same day. At exactly 11:00 a.m., Eric arrived. It was reassuring that he didn’t detect any gas smell. He explained that a brief, faint odor—often described as sulfur or rotten eggs—lasting only a second or two when a boiler or water heater pilot light ignites is completely normal. I was impressed by Eric’s professionalism and clear communication. I highly recommend Heil Plumbing.

  We have been so exceptionally pleased with each experience we’ve had with Heil Plumbing! We are new homeowners and new to MD, and we are so happy to have had such great experiences with Heil. In the span of about two months, Heil came out four times. We had a section of our cast iron waste pipe that cracked and needed to be replaced, in addition to our tub having a stubborn clog and needing to be cleared. After a week, the tub clogged again, so I called back and another guy came out with an apprentice. The issue was the cast iron pipe from our tub and they gave me a price to replace it. At this time, the government was shut down and my husband wasn’t getting paid, so we were going to have to consider how we wanted to handle this. I called my husband, but when I walked back in the room, the technician said he was warrantying the original drain-clearing price and could give us a nice discount to allow us to make the decision to get the work done. A few weeks later, we had a leak over our stairs that we were sure was from our fridge, but it was infrequent and not a constant leak. The technician tried three or four things to try to get it to leak so he could be sure of what the issue was. When we confirmed it was the fridge that was leaking, he made sure to let me know that our shut-off valve downstairs was out of code and we would need to have another shut-off valve installed behind the fridge because if Lowe’s or Home Depot came to replace our fridge, they would refuse to install it if there wasn’t a shut-off valve upstairs. We were in the process of finding a new fridge and deciding when we would move forward with that, so it was really very appreciated that this technician made sure to let me know what work would need to be done before we could move forward! About two weeks later, I got a call from Heil letting me know they knew we had an open quote and they were running a sale on labor, if we wanted to take advantage of that opportunity. Being new to the state and new to homeownership, we are so happy to know that we can count on Heil for any of our future needs!
