  Carl and Mario did an amazing job on my oak floors. The remodeler from the 1970s added hardwood red oak to my enclosed kitchen and stained the white oak (everwhere else) more red, which was fine until I removed all the walls we then found misaligned pieces on the other side of the wall. Realizing we had 2 different kinds of oak Carl and Mario went above and beyond to realign, match and blend my floors. They look great. I am so grateful. This is their second job with me and they have my whole hearted recommendation to anyone looking for revarnishing, refinishing, repair, or stain matching of wood floors. To me their hallmarks are customer service, amazing workmanship and trustworthiness, at a fair price as well! The pictures with the vent whole in the floor are before.

  Hawkins helped us with design, planning and installation of vinyl plank flooring and a stairway carpet runner in conjunction with a complex renovation of our basement. Extremely knowledgeable in raising and explaining alternatives and potential concerns. They did a great job and were very pleasant and responsive throughout. We found all of the Hawkins people to be first-rate professionals who are really dedicated understanding and responding to our project vision and needs. Everyone involved with planning and executing the flooring work was a highly experienced professional who exhibited great attention to detail and a personal commitment to customer satisfaction. Throughout the project they worked closely with us and the other project contractors to structure and schedule the various aspects of the flooring work so that it dovetailed with other aspects of the project and kept the project moving efficiently.

  We had a great experience with Hawkins replacing the living/kitchen areas in our condo. They were very considerate of our stranger-reactive dog and worked very quickly. We'll certainly use them again in the future, highly recommend! Special thanks to Douglas for his hard work and the clear communication with everyone in the office.

  I am espeically happy with my experience and my refinished flooring in my house. The flooring was heavily worn out in some spots and discolored. After looking at reviews for Hawkins online I decided to call them for information and an estimate. A few days from the initial phone call I had Carl (president of Hawkins) come over and look at our floors. After taking down measurements and looking over the floors Carl explained the timeline of things for the refinishing. I was then sent an email with the estimate and next steps included. Two weeks later the refinishing began. "Super Mario" worked on the floors for six days to refinish two bedrooms, a staircase, one living room, one den, kitchen and dinning rooms. The floors were completed in a timely manner. Mario is an expert in his field and was very professional. He kept me updated with the work, answered all my questions and gave me useful information such as how to best maintain the floors. I am so happy with my updated and beautiful floors. My house looks younger inside now. I had such a great experience with Hawkins and will be recommending them to anybody for flooring needs. Nice doing business together Hawkins, Pete Heister
