  We had trouble finding someone ro do our job, so I was thrilled when HOC said they could do it so promptly at a good rate. We're extremely pleased with the outcome - HOC took the time to first address a flaw in the bathroom that has vexed us for years. I didn't realize the job would be so involved but HOC was able yo ameliorate the problem before installing our doors so that the job was done right. Now they look perfect! Very professional and capable team. Highly recommend and am happy I now have someone so trustworthy to call in future. .

  I recently had the pleasure of using a cabinet service to remove and reverse the side and top cabinet boxes in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results!   The quote representative as well as the service representative were friendly and patient as I asked questions regarding the service. They were also knowledgeable. Received two sinks snaked out, and a soffit and a small piece of siding secured to avoid any storm or wind damage. Before confirming I was provided a thorough quote and detail of the work to be performed. They also offer a discount if you pay by check or cash. However, when I considered the time and no major materials/supplies needed...just time...seemed a little pricey; wanted to give the company a chance, however. They're great at follow-up and keep in communication frequently. Very knowledgeable and keep you informed on what's going on. I try to support small businesses for the most part.

  NEVER AGAIN!!!! Handyman On Call came to my house in May 2025 to give me a quote for several jobs. My previous estimates came in at around $80,000 and I'd hoped that they could do better. For the last "SIX MONTHS" they've come back several times and I still don't have a quote. I'd trusted that the two main players I'd been working with were really trying to close this deal, but at this point, "SIX MONTHS" later, I think that they've just been toying with me, just wasting my time for the fun of it! Are they racist? I have to wonder. I am Black, and they're White! Funny, it was one of my White neighbors who'd directed me to them because of the wonderful experience they'd had with them getting two windows replaced, but "I" couldn't even get them to do any work for "me" at all! I needed much more! My contract would have been much more money for them, but I guess they had more fun laughing behind my back while playing around in my face! At some point, they'd even tried to charge me $12k to replace one flight of stairs (see photos) that come pretty much readymade at Home Depot, $8k to reopen the old roof hatch when they replace that roof, and all sorts of other ridiculous prices along the way too! Nobody pays me to lose time from work or anything else when I have to be here for their appointments! Just a waste of time! It seems that they don't know what they're doing, and as I look at these other complaints, I'm glad, lucky that I didn't give them the contracts! I feel like they'd disrespected me like this simply because I'm gay and I'm Black. They didn't treat my "White" neighbor this way. Some things never change. Run. Dont look back. Just make another choice!
