  We have worked with Deck Soldier on a previous project and were very happy with the results. This project was no different. From the estimate to the permit process to the quality of the work - it was a great experience. The workers were professional, friendly and organized. They built our new front porch in no time and we Absolutely love it!

  Had a composite deck installed to replace an old wood deck. Overall I’m very happy with the completed project. The builders were professional and job was completed in a timely manner. The only negative is that it cost me more than expected. The old frame that was initially going to be used had to be totally replaced but I guess some things can’t be foreseen.

  I’m updating my original review to reflect how the situation was ultimately handled. My initial experience was very frustrating due to poor communication and unprofessional behavior from one of the employees (Marcus), which resulted in a missed appointment and wasted time after I drove from Baltimore. However, I do want to acknowledge that Deck Soldier made a genuine effort to correct the situation. A Project Manager came out personally later that same day (around 4 PM), apologized, and took full ownership of the experience. That level of accountability and professionalism stood out to me and showed that the company values its reputation and customer relationships. He conducted a proper on-site assessment and followed through by providing a written estimate that same evening as promised—no delays, no confusion. While the initial experience should not have happened, I respect how it was handled afterward. Because of that, I would still consider doing business with them in the future. I don’t believe one employee should define the entire company, but first impressions do matter.

  I contacted Deck Soldier to restore my 15 year old deck and they did a wonderful job. Can’t say enough good things about my experience. I think people should be mindful of work taking place outside is weather dependent and sometimes takes a little longer.

  Deck soldiers showed up on time, explained the work that the contractor proposed. The workers returned with the materials to do the work, did it very professionally and proficiently, notified me upon completion to see if I was satisfied with their work. I was very impressed, they cleaned up all debris and left the property in decent condition, I would highly recommend Deck Soldier if you need repair work or a new deck.
