  Cameron and Jamie stayed until 9:30 at night, outside in the cold, to install a new HVAC system so that our construction project could stay on track. They were very polite and always smiling, in spite of the long hours and cold conditions. They did a great job!

  I gave considerable forethought before leaving this review. I had a disturbing experience associated with a billing issue. The service billed was for an opinion on a strong unpleasant odor from well water. He said there was no odor and left after five minutes. I'm a chemical engineer and it required multiple filters to correct the problem. Last week I received a letter from a debt collection company with a notice of an unpaid bill for that visit. I called Matthews to inquire as I had received no invoice or follow-up reminders either through email or USPS. They also had my phone number. I was told that they had sent the invoice and reminders using emails and USPS letters. My email address was changed about 7 years ago, but the USPS address - the same as the service address - was indeed correct. And they had my phone number. The collection agency had been associated, according to web alerts, with questionable practices. I paid the bill that I didn't know I had, and requested that they send me a receipt and contact the collection agency to close the case. And to send confirmations to my current email and a USPS letter stating that they had done this. I have never had something like this happen before.

  Matthews electrician was great! They just finished my entire installation of fans, chandeliers and outlets replacement.

  I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the technicians at C. Albert Matthews. Always courteous and professional, and they actually fix and repair the problem.All these issues seem to be an issue here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with other companies.Not with these guys and gals. Keep up the good work, I’m a customer for life.
