  Late Sunday afternoon the heat pump to our home stopped working. Artic sent a technician who was able to identify and fix the problem. The technician came within a half hour, was efficient and knowledgeable. As a snow storm was just starting, heat was restored to our home.

  I had a great, first experience with Artic Heating and Air Conditioning. Scheduling the appointment was easy. I signed up for their maintenance plan. They followed up a couple of times to remind me of the appointment. Their technician, Evan, called me the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way and approximately what time he'd arrive. Evan was professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain my Trane air handler and heat pump set-up, and he answered several questions I had. It was also pouring rain when he had to do some work on the heat pump, but Evan didn't seemed fazed and provided great service. I'm very happy I chose this company to provide me with my HVAC service and maintenance.

  Just had a service call To fix my gas heater at my home Migel is one of the technicians and he’s so nice and always explains everything completely for me. I’ve used Artic Heat & Air for 33 years between my four apartments in Ocean City, my pizza shop and my home. Absolutely the best heating and air company in Ocean City Berlin and Ocean Pines area. A large operation with lots of technicians and it’s 2ns generation family run operation locally with its main base in downtown, Berlin, Maryland. Jim Hofman

  Arctic could only tell me that someone would show up on the day I scheduled which I had to prepay plus $100 once someone showed. So basically $200 to greet the tech. So I had to be home from 8 to midnight since I was told someone would show up. No updates until 10 minutes before the tech arrived. That was a big con. However, the pro was that once the tech showed, he was definitely knowledgeable. He laid out my options, with estimated costs for the various possibilities of why the system wasn’t working along with his professional opinion, and went to work. The system was working better than ever when he left after 4 hours on the job.

  My heat suddenly stopped working and this was this past Saturday.. January 31, 2026. When I called Arctic Air they told me that they were busy (being a weekend and below freezing temperatures!) but a technician would call me when they were on their way. Miguel showed up and was super professional.. he explained he did smell gas and was going to thoroughly check everything out… he found the safety switch had turned off the system because it ended up there was a gas leak! Luckily, my HVAC system was still under warranty! Miguel was at our home for over two hours and made sure he was correct in his diagnosis and then he replaced the gas valve. ***** Excellent service In 12° weather! Thanks Arctic Air and thank you so much Miguel!!!
