  Company claims to be family owned but positively reeks of private equity. Tech shows up with a electronic tablet. Everything from the start is an upsell. $99 service fee ballooned to $350 after tech spent 15 minutes "fixing" a wire cap that was perfectly fine the day before when I replaced the capacitor. Then quoted me an outrageous amount to replace a fan motor. I'm talking well over $500+ hourly labor rate. When I told the tech I found the part online for $100 bucks, he replied with "my family has to eat".

  I want to say what an excellent experience working with Matt Kramer. He did a fantastic job from start to finish and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His service was incredibly efficient, and everything was completed in a timely manner without cutting any corners. What really stood out was how thorough he was in explaining every step of the work he was going to do with my hot water heater. He took the time to make sure I understood what was happening, why it was necessary, and what to expect, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that Matt takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about providing top-quality service. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and knowledgeable help. Five stars all the way!

  My boyfriend (Ifiok) and I were very pleased with the service we received from Sam Northup at Staton Heating. His friendly, personable demeanor immediately put us at ease during an otherwise stressful situation. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough in his work, and even took the time to provide helpful context when we needed it. We would gladly recommend him to our friends and family, and we will definitely be requesting him specifically for any future plumbing needs.

  I’ve had Staton come to my home for both HVAC and plumbing maintenance/repair over the past year. Service has been excellent every time. The technicians let me know what was necessary and what was trivial; I never felt like they were trying to pressure me into anything. Most recently, Jason came out for a plumbing follow-up to replace a hose bib in our finished basement, which required cutting into the drywall. He did a great job covering up the hole in the drywall with an access panel; it looks like it has always been there. I’ll definitely be using Staton for future HVAC and plumbing services.

  What else can I say other than..things never quit working at opportune times. So our water heater has been going down hill for a while. To be fair, it lasted almost 22 years! WL Staton was the only place to call me back in a prompt manner. They are the only one who came out to look and speak to me face to face. And Sam, the tech that showed up, was nothing short of amazing. He walked me through the process, made sure I was comfortable and had answered all of my questions. Were they the least expensive, no. But in my opinion it was worth it. It was not a contractor grade heater and Sam was a pro during every step of the way! Would definitely use them again and request Sam!
