- RLRyan LynchOct 7, 20255.0While there was an initial error with my pick up location, Drew in Glen Burnie provided great assistance, and even texted me personally to ensure that I was aware of the Annapolis office's closing time. Although I got to Annapolis 15 minutes late, the branch manager Hector re-opened the door, got my equipment and hooked it up to my truck. This cause him and an assistant to stay 45 minutes late on a Friday afternoon. And while that was already extremely generous, he then offered to come in before the store opened on Monday to allow me to drop off the equipment and make it to my work on time. This EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE has made me a customer for life.

By far probably one of the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. They obviously have no idea that machine maintenance and shining it up so it looks good are two different things. I specifically asked if the belts we're in good shape and was told emphatically that they were. Well they were not. Just like experienced there in the past halfway through the job machine stops working. At least last time they had a tech come to replace the belt. Not this time. This manager doesn't want to lose any time or money. Bring it back and swap it out he says. Nope, the best approach with the time I have left today is going to ride up the road and pick one up from Herc rentals which I probably should have done in the first place but United rentals is closer to my work for an a.m. return. If you have a job that has any type of deadline or needs equipment you can count on I've shared my experience. They definitely do not know what the meaning of equipment maintenance is as well as recognizing when they've dropped the ball and need to make it right. Thanks for nothing United Rentals and Hector. No longer on our vendors list.
