For 100 years, Oleksak Lumber Company, family owned and operated, has served Western Massachusetts with a commitment to service and value. Our operation now includes a fully automated sawmill, dry kiln, milling facility, pallet lumber cut-up operation, bark mulch business, and including our own crews, an extensive network of loggers supplying logs for the sawmill. Our raw material is generated in part from the 3,000 plus acres of family owned timberland and from private landowners.

This family-owned company is so old that even I don't remember when it was founded. My association with them began over forty years ago. Their knowledge base is so broad that I've yet to ask them a question about wood, its uses, or even cabinet building that they haven't been able to answer. My highest recommendation for a fantastic locally-owned lumberyard that buys locally.
