- KEkevin elieNov 5, 20255.0Hands down, the finest craftmanship available. I was fortunate enough to be home to watch the entire process. The workers were amazing, like clockwork. They all got along with one another and were very happy working together. There were as many as 9 men here at a time. These men are very skilled. From dawn to dusk and even later on the final day. Some of what they did is not listed below, so I am putting it here. Removal of old shingles of 33 years. Replacement of 34 sheets of plywood. New baffle vents. Replacement of fascia and soffit boards, as well as wrapping them with coil stock to prevent future damage from carpenter bees and woodpeckers, which also helps to keep mice out of the house. New bathroom exhaust fan vent put on the roof where there was not one originally. Joint tape on all plywood seams. Shingle under fabric as well as ice belt. Additional roof ventilation system besides the ridge vent. If you are currently searching for a company to replace your roof and are feeling a bit apprehensive about picking one.
