  Tim made our vision come to life!!! We remodeled basement, kitchen, and two bathrooms plus a few odd jobs… His work is immaculate, his eye for the small details is impressive… I would HIGHLY recommend Tim for any work you need in your home…

  Tim did an awesome job on my retaining wall project. He removed all the old blocks, re-graded the yard, and cleaned everything up really well (something often overlooked by contractors in my experience). He was super respectful of my neighbor’s yard and took the time to walk me through what he was doing and why. Communication was easy the whole time and he was generous with his time. Overall just a really solid, stress-free experience. I’d definitely recommend Tim to anyone looking for this kind of work. With contractors it’s hard to find someone trustworthy. I’m glad I chose Tim for this job and will happily reach out to him again.

  I highly recommend Tim and his crew at Zollhaus Companies. We hired him to update a 1,700 s/f apartment in our 100+ yo rental duplex. It involved gutting and replacing the kitchen and flooring, adding a 1/2 bath and pantry closet on the first floor, new fixtures, sink, vanity and flooring in the 2nd floor bath, patching and painting every room, and refinishing all the hardwood flooring. He kept us informed of and knew how to handle the quirks of an old house (plumbing, electrical, uneven flooring) and gave us valuable design and practical suggestions/options along the way. He's a talented finish carpenter and surprised us by matching added trim work to the 100 yo trim. 6 months later he came back to replace the front and back entryway stairs and railings. We've since hired him to add sills and trim to our enclosed porch windows. Not an easy task in another 100 yo house. He again matched the trim to our existing trim and helped us with the cranky old door that refused to latch closed. Tim kept us fully informed along the way with pricing, scheduling, and updated billing. And he's a super nice guy! Hire him. You'll be glad you did
