  We used Maffei for service of our old furnace for the last few years and that has been fine. Now when our furnace died at the end of October, they were quick to sell us a new furnace and slow on actually getting us heat. During the initial install they seemed to not have a electrician available to wire the unit and tried to have me do it myself having experience with 120v. After that whole "miscommunication" we wait over the weekend until Monday when the installation is finished. Thats no problem. Later that week the unit seems to fail, they send out a technician who sits on his truck for 30 minutes, brags about how good he is and about how hes leaving the company to start his own business. He claims to fix the problem and the furnace works for literally a few hours until it fails again. They send out the installer and they troubleshoot the unit and order the part, he says he'll be back on monday to get it figured out. That was now last Friday Nov 7th, going on the first week in November without heat. As I write this it is noon on Friday Nov 14th, going on weekend number three with no heat, and in communication with their office it seems as though they've forgotten about us entirely. Having worked for a small trades shop out of the north shore for about 7 years, I get things can be hectic. But actually for a company to come in and install an expensive faulty unit, and then give us a run around on getting it working as the cold season begins, is just plain unacceptable. You can at least communicate when leaving people in the cold. Its going to take some serious convincing for me to consider using them for service after this whole rather surprising experience.

  This is the second year in a row that Maffei Services has come to our rescue. The entire team is responsive from the time they take your phone call until the time the project is completed. Great customer service, great response and turnaround time and excellent financing options that make unexpected large projects a lot easier to digest from a financial perspective. I would highly recommend Maffei Services for any planned or unexpected projects, you will not be disappointed.

  I didn’t need a call out. My husband fixed it and I think we paid the 49 fee. Not sure. I was ecstatic when I booked the call out at 5:50 AM because I don’t have a regular plumber I can call. I was so glad you had one for me at 5 in the morning. Thank you forever, hopefully there won’t be a next time but I know who to call if I need a midnight plumber. Michele Bair Newburyport.

  Kingston is amazing. I needed work done pretty quickly and Rhonda got right to me. I explained to her what my issue was and she was on point for what I needed. Joe listened and was up to doing the job . Permit pulled in less than 24 hours. Kingstons guys, Kyle and Gus good peeps! . So happy with them! Kingston is my saved plumbers. Good peeps!

  I highly recommend this company. They came out quickly to get my heat back up and running, service my gas furnace, and check my mini-splits for any issues. Devin was extremely professional and knew his stuff. Nicole in the front office was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely do business with them again.
