Susan Elias 1 review 19 hours ago Rated 1 out of 5 stars Horrible experience … It appeared that the ordering process went smoothly and the wood was delivered on schedule. To place the order, I was required to have one of LL Flooring’s estimators come to my home to measure. I paid $50 for this alleged service. When the installers came to lay down the floor, I was informed that the custom wood grills were missing from the order. Further, the area under the dishwasher was not included in the work order. After spending hours trying to figure out what could be done to move forward with the installation, either LL flooring, and or the installation manager decided that they could not do the job until the grills were delivered. In addition, two of the six of these required custom order based on non-standard size. I was very upset and tried to work directly with the store to sort out what could be done while the installers tried to figure it out on their end. Hours later, the installers left having done nothing. In the lead up to the installation, I had to hire a plumber to disconnect and reconnect several appliances in the kitchen. The cost of this is nearly $1,000. I had to move most of the furniture out of my living room, hire a moving truck, rent storage space, and do a physical move. I had to purchase plastic and other items to cover my surfaces. Because the stove is unavailable, we’ve had to eat out and use food delivery, which has become quite expensive. We have no seating in the living room and the holidays are upon us. It is almost a full week since the installers left without doing the work and I still have no resolution from LL flooring . I told the store manager I want compensation for the plumbing and other expenses associated with this failure on their part, as General Contractor, to order all the necessary materials needed for the job. The store manager suggested I contact corporate as there was nothing he could do for me on that front. I contacted the phone number provided, was on hold for quite a while, and finally followed the prompts to leave a phone number that I could be reached at when they became available. I never received a call back. The store manager also suggested I look for an alternative installer. Though I’ve made many calls. I’ve heard back from no one. The situation is untenable. I have no idea why the installer chooses not to move forward, especially as I was informed that it was my responsibility to tell the person measuring that I wanted the grills replaced. If that were true,we could say hypothetically that if I chose not to have them replaced they would have proceeded with the installation, which they refused to do. The role of the person measuring is to apply their professional experience and expertise to do the complete job. There is no way that a consumer would know that they have to call out any part of the floor separately. While the store has tried to be helpful, they repeatedly reminded me that they just sell the wood and it’s not their responsibility to deal with installation issues. As I purchased the measurements, wood, and installation with the store, I failed to see how they can make this claim. Indeed, I’ve had to make all the calls for status and received very few initiated by them. No one from corporate management has contacted me. There seems to be more finger-pointing than anything and I’m at a loss as to what to do next. All I know at this point is that they still don’t have pricing from the vendor they use for the grills and apparently can’t expedite the custom grills any quicker than 3 to 4 weeks which given the time of year is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend doing a turnkey solution through LL flooring. In all likelihood, I’ll have to cancel the whole order move everything back and start all over at the beginning of the new year. This has been a complete disaster.

On two separate visits I was assisted by Cody and Ryan. Both were pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. I was comfortable taking a lot of time snd asking many questions in making my flooring choice. Thanks to both of you.
