  Molly came to our house last minute to take care of a constantly running bathroom sink. She was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She also took a look at a few extra things I had questions about. I felt like she was super the honest about everything and was very comfortable having her in our house and working things! I highly recommend this company and if you're lucky Molly will show up at your house too!

  We had a leak in the plumbing servicing an old cast iron tub, down through the bathroom floor and through the kitchen ceiling below. The old pipes had given way. Spencer Plumbing sent Michael Holmes to fix the plumbing. Michael needed to go through the kitchen ceiling to reach the old pipes. He informed us that he only opened the hole in the ceiling and that we would need to find someone else to close the hole in the ceiling - which we will do after enough time for everything to dry. Michael worked hard at fixing several problems with the old plumbing - replacing some pipes and some very old components of the tub plumbing that drains the water. He worked through the relatively small hole in the ceiling - and was able to make all the fixes - joining pipes, tightening components, etc. Through it all he was polite, respectful of us and our house (including covering his boots each time he returned from his truck). Definitely knew what he was doing and stuck with it through difficulties.

  It was a true pleasure to deal with Spencer Home Services for our new Lenox gas fired forced hot air furnace. I took their name off one of their vans in Beverly and contacted them. Ryan, their Technical Representative, provided me a quote the next day. I met Pete, the owner and Sheila his wife, when I went to their office and provided the down payment. I also met Steve who would be installing the furnace. Ryan and Steve answered all my remaining questions. Before we left, we were gifted a pumpkin as a charming, unexpected seasonal gift. Steve, Dave and Chuck arrived early in the morning for the installation and completed the job the same day. The installation went exactly as planned. There were no additional charges,, the estimate I had been provided was exact to the penny. The new furnace and thermostat were tested and we were provided training for the thermostat. The furnace has been up and operating for the past two weeks; all is well. Pete and his Team (Sheila, Ryan, Steve, Dave, Chuck) were a true pleasure to deal with. They answered every telephone call (something that these days is hard to find). They also called after the installation to make sure the furnace was properly operating and to be sure we were completely satisfied. Customer Service is "Job Number 1" at Spencer Home Services. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. They are friendly, honest, and highly professional. Neil

  Last week, I got an estimate for both a sewer pipe lining, an A/C duct & ceiling ventilation fan cleaning. The estimate was substantially lower than any of the other estimates I received. In addition, if you have your sewage pipe scoped for the estimate, some places will retroactively charge you hundreds of dollars for the estimate if you don’t move forward with the project. Spencer’s estimates are actually free, regardless if you move forward with them or not. Today two crews came out and did both projects on the same day. Everyone I met was courteous and professional. Kris did a walkthrough with me before and after the duct & vent cleaning and showed me images of the ductwork pre & post-cleaning. Oscar showed me videos of my sewage pipe before, during, and after the lining & how the new pipe functions now. Both of them asked if I had any questions multiple times and encouraged me to watch them work, if I wanted to. I would absolutely reach out to Spencer Home Services again for future projects & recommend them for your plumbing & HVAC needs.

  I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Spencer Home Service and their team. From start to finish, every part of the process was exceptional. We encountered an emergency water and sewer issue, and Spencer came highly recommended—now I understand why. Sheila was incredibly professional and immediately understood the urgency of the situation. She coordinated everything seamlessly, dispatching a crew within 24 hours and providing timely updates on their arrival along with detailed information about the team members. Her communication and care throughout the process were truly outstanding. The crew that arrived was equally impressive—highly skilled, efficient, and professional. A special thank-you to Rich for his expertise and for ensuring the job went as smoothly as possible. Also Oscar, Brian, Julio, Paul, Bryan, and Cesar for their hard work and dedication. In terms of pricing, Spencer’s team was extremely fair and competitive—significantly more reasonable than other companies we contacted. I will absolutely continue to use this company for all of my future home service needs and strongly recommend them to anyone seeking quality work and exceptional service.
