Dennis was quick to respond to my initial request and performed the work in a timely manner. The price was more than fair and he was easy to communicate with. I requested a few changes after the initial survey as well as some wetlands paperwork. Within a day or 2 he performed the change and sent the paperwork. Highly recommended.

Best land surveying company in the metrowest. They did a certified plot plan of my property and made it easy for me to get a permit with the city. Their prices were also the best around!

Can Land Surveyors Resolve Property Disputes?
Land surveyors can provide accurate, up-to-date information about property boundaries, which can be crucial in resolving disputes. However, legal resolution of property disputes may require the involvement of legal professionals.
Will my survey be recorded at the registry of deeds?
Only if you are subdividing a parcel, eliminating or changing a property line, or creating an easement. Your property info is already on file at the registry of deeds.
How can two land surveys be different?
Land surveying is both a science and an art. The science and mathematics of completing a survey is an incredibly precise process of data gathering. The interpretation of data gathering, however, is at the discretion of the licensed surveyor performing the survey to give his or her professional opinion.
Legal descriptions can be unclear and/or surrounding deeds can contain conflicting information. It is the surveyor’s job to piece together the information and provide the best opinion possible with the available facts and data. The art of drawing those conclusions can vary slightly from surveyor to surveyor even when interpreting for the same tract of land.
When do I Need a Land Surveyor?
When buying land, to protect the investment you are about to make. When selling land. A clearly marked property will sell faster for a higher price. When dividing land. Property must be surveyed in order to accurately describe each parcel being created. When constructing improvements such as buildings, fences, driveways, etc. near a property line, and when cutting trees.
What are the different types of Land Surveys?
Mortgage Survey: Ordered by lenders or title insurers for residential or commercial properties.shows if the property is in a flood zone as determined by FEMA
ALTA Survey: Typically contracted for commercial property transactions or refinancing. Based on standards set by the American Land Title Association and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping. It provides a universal standard for accurate and reliable results.
Boundary Survey: Used to identify the boundary lines of a property. It involves setting or recovering property corners and creating a detailed plat or map. Essential for construction, permits, and property ownership clarification.
Topographic Survey: Measures and maps land elevations. Often requested by residential or commercial property owners before making improvements like additions or landscaping. It provides valuable information for design and construction purposes.
Do I need to do a new land survey if I have major home renovations a few years after my last survey?

A survey is recorded only if you are subdividing a parcel, changing a property line, or creating an easement. Your property info is already on file at the registry of deeds.
Why might two land surveys of the same property differ?
