Metrowest GraniteCountertop cleaned restored and polished our kitchen, bar and bathroom granite and marble countertops and cleaned and restored a bathroom marble tile floor. In addition, we ordered a marble countertop for our baking center. We highly recommend Metrowest. Their owners, Marcio and Paula, are responsive, work diligently, have fair pricing and are just a pleasure to deal with. Our countertops and bathroom floor sparkle. We’re very pleased with Metrowest and especially with Marcio and Paula. We highly recommend them.

Hadley Contracting has worked with Marcio on 2 projects now and we couldn't be happier. Metrowest provided us with great samples, the estimating was quick and the workmanship was excellent. Marcio followed up with us to make sure the C'top installation came out exactly the way we liked. We are happy to have Metrowest as a primary C'top sub-contractor.

Frequently Asked Questions About Metrowest Granite Countertop

What is the average cost of quartz, granite or marble countertops?

All materials: marble, granite, and quartz have a range of price points. Traditionally marble tends to be the most expensive. Granite and quartz are similarly priced, again with a wide range from entry level price points to more exotic stones which carry a higher price point. Understanding our clients style and budget can help to tailor the right stone for each project.

Should I use marble or granite for my kitchen countertop?

Although typical application of marble is for the bathroom vanity tops, jacuzzi tops and fireplaces, it is possible to use it in the kitchen. However, due to the fact that it is easy to scratch and is affected by acidic substances, such as vinegars, ketchups etc., we don’t usually recommend it. Moreover the high-gloss of the marble countertop can be partially lost as many chemicals etch its surface. Granite in turn is considered the second hardest stone, its polish is not subject to etching by household acids, or scratching by knives and pots and pans under normal use. It is also not affected by typical kitchen heat such as hot pans.
