  Over the course of a month, I called four separate times requesting a quote. Each time, I spoke with Emily, who repeatedly asked me the same questions as if I were calling for the first time. Despite my patience, I never received the quote she promised. This repeated back-and-forth with no follow-through was a complete waste of time. I would not recommend Holmberg & Howe. I encourage others to save themselves the frustration and seek out a more reliable and professional surveyor.

  One can only hope their sense of direction is better than sense of time. We signed a contract on 3/24. We heard nothing until I followed up at the end of May and received “Too many things going on, too many interruptions, and not enough help.” The work was not done until Aug and we missed the summer selling season. There are other surveyors, hire one of them!

  Great experience. We needed a rough survey done of our property just to see where it is. Katherine, who answered the phone, looked up tax maps and deed maps over the phone and got back to me with very useful information, including the fact that the tax assessors think we have 2.8 acres when we actually have 2.3. Well, that's good to know! Then, the surveyor who came out was excellent, marked our rather weird property lines clearly, explained the access road issue, and otherwise gave us great information. Also particularly appreciate that these guys LISTENED to what we needed: a rough idea of where we could put buildings. So, they didn't do a full survey, just a four-hour one that gave us a sense of what we needed (and which was a whole lot less expensive). Great experience, and we'll have them back when we're ready to plan the outbuildings in fine detail.
