  We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating system. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement — which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn’t reflect professional standards — including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to MillTown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there “wasn’t much to do,” and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn’t a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating — from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response.   We had Matt here this morning for a kitchen drain clog. Milltown offered us an appointment within 24 hours of us reaching out - Matt showed up and was personable, knowledgeable and transparent. Fixed the clog relatively quickly and cleaned up very well after he was finished. Would highly recommend, and, even though we hope we don’t have to, would use their service again!

  Frank just did a fantanstic job replacing our kitchen faucet with all options laid out clearly in advance. He also replaced our rusty shutoff valves/pipes so our condo is now a safer place. We really appreciate the quality and efficiency of his work. Also, David and Andy who took our calls are very friendly and helpful. The price for most items were reasonable, the only cost caught us by surprise was faucet replacement - which trippled the number than I thought.

  Steve, Tim, and Jason all helped with my bathroom renovation. I couldn’t be happier with it!! They installed my new tub/shower, removed and replaced the vanity and toilet, and capped off a second sink and toilet because the bathroom was previously a jack and Jill. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and kept my home clean.

  I can't thank Eric, Justin and team enough for the amazing job they did installing my new Furnace. They arrived early this morning and left this evening and we had heat! They were all very respectful and very kind. Exceptional meticulous installation! Unfortunately my hot water tank failed over night flooding my finished basement. I frantically called Milltown as soon as we realized what had happend. They were here within an hour and never left until the job was done. Milltown are my new forever plumbers. I have more jobs for them!! Thank you again!
