Last month on a Sunday, I had a circuit breaker that kept tripping. When I went to reset, the breaker was loose and I knew it was time to call the professionals. Called Milltown Monday morning and they had two electricians come around noon time. Now that is responsiveness. Not only identified the problem, but found two other issues in the electrical box after doing a complete safety check. They bought the parts and completed the repairs that afternoon. NO $200 emergency call like others, very professional, and great quality work. Kudos to Milltown.

I requested service for my Bryant whole house generator but I said it had Generac engine inside, I said it was cranking but not turning over. Milltown said they can sevice that and will have a tech there Tuesday between 8:30 to 9:30 am. Nobody showed up, I called and he said service manager said we do not service Bryant with Generac engine because it may have different engine. I said somebody shoud have called and he said "Tami called at 7:58". I checked my call log and this is what Tami left "This is Tami... " than hangs up. I was sick that Tuesday morning and sat up waiting for a tech that never showed. I feel this is some sort of product dispute that I was caught up in between. I called Village Heating and they responded the next day as promised and found that it was just a drained battery

I had a problem with my one-year-old tankless water heater. Rather than admitting they were unfamiliar with the brand, the plumbers attempted to "fix what they thought was wrong." For about a month, I had a water drum in my basement with a garden hose ran through my downstairs while I waited for parts they claimed were needed. Unfortunately, these parts did not resolve the issue. At one point, they asked me to run the hot water while the heater’s door was off so they could observe what was happening. Although I pointed out that the manual specifically warns against operating the heater with the door off, they insisted it would be fine. When I turned on the hot water, I heard a loud pop from upstairs and the system completely shut down. Upon returning downstairs, I found the hot water would no longer turn on and the electrical panel was completely melted. The plumbers tried to claim this was pre-existing damage, which was clearly not true. By this point, I had already spent $700 with them. They then told me I would need to replace the heater and offered a discount on a new unit, though I would still have to pay full price for installation. This led to a heated argument where I refused to pay them any more, especially as the original problem had now escalated destroyed unit. The plumber finally contacted the manufacturer and surprisingly they said they would replace the unit with a new one that was currently in stock at my local Home Depot. After hanging up with the manufacturer the lead plumber informed me that I would have to go there and collect it myself. He also stated that I would have to pay them another $1,200 for installation. I lost my temper at this point and told him I refused. I stated they would pick up the replacement and install it at no additional cost to me. I would never do business with this company again and have advised my neighbors to avoid them as well.

Matt came out on a Friday to repair a boiler that wasn’t working that they installed a couple years prior. He told me it wasn’t working properly because I did not change the filter which I wasn’t aware existed. nobody told me when it was installed that I needed to change a filter. I think part of Any type of Equipment installation would be to teach the person how to maintain it in order for it to run correctly, but that was not done. Matt said the filter should’ve been changed once a month and that the filter cost $10 on Amazon. Because that was not done, it cost me $10,000 to repair. however, the part to replace it was covered under warranty, which was $600. The part had to be ordered and despite there being minors In the household and it snowing and being midwinter, I was told the part would not come in until next Friday and he put a red tag on my boiler which meant I could not use it. I called Milltown every day for an update and on Wednesday was told by Tammy they would call and see if the part could be expedited. The part should’ve been expedited on Friday, but no matter because the company said that it could not be expedited and would be there Friday. It actually ended up coming on Saturday. I was told it would be an all day job but actually took three hours. Well, I have heat now and I will never use Milltown again.
