  Recently moved to a home with septic. Noticed the tank overflowing on Friday evening. Called and left emergency messages with 3 companies and no one replied. Finally tried Batesons at 930pm on Friday. My call was answered by a service who took my information. The owner of Betesons called me back within 5 minutes and said he would send someone over by 9am as it was not spilling into the home. By 745am his truck was finished pumping me out. Joe, the operator was a true professional. As I am new to septic, he took the time to explain my system, confirm it was all operating correctly and even help me lay out some landscaping to not interfere with the leach field. Great company and great experience all around. I will now be a regular customer. I never post reviews, ever but this service was exceptional.

  Dave Bateson saved me $8500 on a major plumbing job recently done at my home. An excavator was needed and called in to dig a trench for the inside pipe installation to connect through the foundation to the city sewer system. Bateson was hired to dig the 10 X 10 foot trench. After inspecting the job his workmen had done refilling in the trench, Dave casually asked what I paid for that particular part of the pipe laying work. When I told him the pricing he was very upset. Told me what he thought the job should have cost and pointed out that his workmen had done the majority of the work on the outside portion of this job. An hour later Dave called me, told me he was delivering a truck load of loam, having it spread out and seeded, so I would not have to pay an additional amount to a landscaper. He felt bad that I had been charged so much. He also informed me that he would no longer be doing business with that particular plumbing company. Of course, I thanked him profusely, knowing he was under no obligation to make such a kind offer. Later he called to tell me he'd called up the plumbing company to express his displeasure; and they now assured him they would be giving me a rebate. The plumbing company followed up with a call from their regional manager and then their plumbing department manager to offer me the $8500 rebate, an almost 75% rebate on that portion of the job. Dave Bateson is an honest man, running a family business, who wanted to be sure his client was treated fairly even though he was not directly responsible for the over-charges levied from the plumbing company. I cannot endorse Bateson Sewer Services enough. Dave went out of his way to make it right for me, as well as doing excellent work on their portion of the job. I have purposely not mentioned the plumbing company by name (who BTW, do good work) because my intent is not to disparage another company who have personnel making their living from said company. I only wish to give credit where credit is due. Bateson Sewer Services deserves credit for their humanity and empathy towards their customers. THANK YOU SINCERELY DAVE for going above and beyond!!!

  We recently worked with Bateson Septic for a complete septic system installation, including yard build up, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They gave us the lower quote compared to another estimate, but their quality and professionalism were top-notch. The entire team was very prompt, working efficiently with minimal downtime. They were incredibly careful around our existing plants and landscaping, showing real attention to detail. After the install, they even seeded the lawn, leaving the yard looking great and well cared for. The crew was hardworking, friendly, and very accommodating to all our requests throughout the process. It’s clear this family-run business has many years of experience, and it really shows in their workmanship.   As a Realtor in Andover i had a listing needing a complete septic system. One call was all was needed, they were there when planned and from start to finish 5 days. I would not hesitate to use them again.
