    The team at Outdoor Home Store in Slidell is hands down the best team to help you with for all of your outdoor grilling needs. That are very friendly and knowledgeable and showed us may brands to make sure we got what we needed.

    Misleading stock status, no communication, and failed refund follow-through I placed an order with Outdoor Home Store on September 30, 2025, for an item listed as in stock and ready to ship. After receiving my confirmation, I heard nothing for over a week. I emailed on October 9th asking for an update and was told the owner had reached out to Blackstone Products but hadn’t received a response. When I still didn’t hear anything, I emailed again on October 14th (no reply). On October 16th, I followed up again after noticing the item had been changed to “out of stock” on their website. The owner said if he didn’t hear back from the manufacturer by the next day, he would cancel and refund my order — but that never happened. By November 3rd, after a month of waiting with no updates or refund, I again requested cancellation. On that same day, the website still showed the same item as “in stock and ready to ship.” Two days later, on November 5th, I had to reach out yet again asking when the refund would be processed. The owner replied that he “didn’t realize it hadn’t processed” and said he would handle it that day — but even then, the refund still wasn’t issued. As of November 6th, I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company just to recover my payment. This experience was completely unprofessional — misleading inventory listings, broken promises about refunds, and poor communication every step of the way.
