My experience with Rickey Nguyen from Keefe’s Air Conditioning was pleasant and fantastic! Rickey arrived to perform the 6 month maintenance on my AC unit. Rickey was prompt and professional, but at the same time pleasant to interact with. He took his time, was completely thorough and quickly diagnosed what needed to be done to increase the efficiency of my unit. Rickey was knowledgeable and honest. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions of concern. Completely pleased with the great service he provided. Thanks Rickey, kudos to you!

Our office called Keefe's for a gas leak and we received nothing short of the best service. From their callers, to their text message updates, to Christian who came out to the property and did the work- everything was excellent!
They were a calming and reassuring presence in what could have been an otherwise stressful situation. We strongly recommend their services when looking for professionals in the field.
I am deeply disappointed in my recent experience with Keefe & Co., who recently acquired Help A/C — the company that had been performing my annual HVAC maintenance for years.
Keefe & Co. performed my routine preventive maintenance in November 2025, shortly after the acquisition. At that time, there was no indication whatsoever that my system was in poor condition or approaching failure. I was given the standard “everything looks fine” type of report consistent with prior years.
Fast-forward just three months later (February 2026) — during Mardi Gras — my A/C stopped working. Because Keefe & Co. had just serviced the unit and inherited the maintenance relationship, I trusted them to provide honest repair guidance and get the system operational quickly.
Instead, the visit turned into what felt like a blatant upsell attempt to replace my entire 10+ year-old system, framed as urgent and necessary.
Let’s be clear:
• This same company performed preventive maintenance only three months earlier
• They documented no major deterioration or imminent failure
• Now suddenly the unit is portrayed as being in poor condition and needing replacement
Those two narratives cannot both be true.
Either:
1. The November maintenance was not performed competently, or
2. The February visit prioritized sales over service
Neither scenario is acceptable.
Most concerning of all: my issue was ultimately resolved by simply resetting the power supply — not by replacing equipment, not by major repair, and not by any condition consistent with the dire replacement recommendation I was given.
As a customer who pays annually for preventive maintenance specifically to avoid surprise failures and unnecessary replacement, this experience was alarming and eroded trust completely.
Homeowners should be aware:
If Keefe & Co. has recently acquired your maintenance provider, I strongly recommend requesting copies of prior service reports and carefully comparing them with any new recommendations for major replacement. Sudden escalation in severity without documented interval change should raise concern.
I expect better continuity, transparency, and technical integrity from a company assuming long-standing maintenance relationships.
I cannot recommend Keefe & Co. based on this experience.

Great service from start to finish. Easy to book appointment and technician showed up on time. Technician surveyed the issues we were having, offered options and completed the work. Technician did a great job of explaining everything and cleaning up after himself. Great experience!

Electrician was on time, courteous and very knowledgeable he was coming out on a semi warranty call after a ceiling fan installation. Come to find out the issue was not with their installation but with the fan that I bought. Looks like I'll be buying another fan and probably have Keefe's install it.
