Rickey was knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around! Our furnace was malfunctioning and he patiently resolved the issue. He was thorough, friendly, and made sure that everything was working properly before he left. He was also very honest about the condition of our unit. Everything was done under a promo offered by the company. We are truly appreciative of the company and for having the opportunity to work with Rickey.

Sherman Deserves 5 Stars—Call Center Needs Improvement
Sherman, the technician who came to fix our heater, was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. He worked closely with the office to identify the issue, and they were able to locate the replacement parts quickly and have them ready for pickup. Five stars for Sherman and the repair work!
However, the experience with scheduling the follow-up appointment was disappointing.
The initial repair happened on Tuesday, and I was told dispatch would call me to arrange the next visit. I didn’t hear back that day.
On Wednesday, I called and was told they would email Sherman, the service manager, and dispatch, and I’d get a call back.
Thursday morning, I called again and got the same response.
Thursday afternoon, I called once more and was told that parts can take time to find and they’d call me when they had them—this was frustrating because it contradicted what I was told earlier.
When I asked to speak to someone else, I was informed this was a call center and they could only send a message, which could take 2–24 hours for someone to respond.
Almost exactly two hours later, I finally received a call to schedule the final repair. The repair itself went smoothly—Sherman thoroughly tested the system, answered my questions, and even waited while I tested the repair myself.
Summary: Sherman and the support team deserve praise for their professionalism and quality work. However, the lack of communication and the call center experience were disappointing and would make me hesitant to recommend Keefe’s in the future.

Keefe was clean, courteous, informative, helpful, remove all my old dusty hvac blower/furnace, and neatly installed the new advanced two-cycle unit without harming anything in our attic storage. Now, with their even larger inventory of ready to install units for various needs, and the cool season is the right season for hvac replacement. No mid-Sumner heat surprises.
Mr. Sherman Mulkey was an amazing technician! He arrived early, immediately started solving the problem, and fixed it quickly. He was knowledgeable and friendly, walking us through the entire process as he worked on our HVAC equipment. Truly such a kind person, even with us being his last client of the day. Truly recommend his services!!!

I know this review is not aligned with the 5-star rating this company gets. Perhaps my situation is unique. I have a very old ac unit. It's got problems. But a technician came out and told me the parts weren't available, and if they were (an interesting piece of logic) they would be 4,769$ and 3,500$ for each of them. The blower and the heat exchanger needed to be replaced, he wrote. He scheduled a salesperson to come out that evening to sell me a new unit.
Today, someone else came and fixed the unit for $450 dollars. It was not the blower or the heat exchanger; it was the igniter, the flame sensor, and the rollout switches. So, the technician was wrong about the problems.
However, I don't think the technician is incompetent. I think it is more the case that the technician didn't want to fix the unit. Let me be clear: I do not think this technician makes the decision to push a new unit. I think that this rather is company policy. That's fine! Keefe's can refuse to fix old units. That's their prerogative. But don't come here and lie to me about my unit then charge me $88 for the privilege.
If you have a unit worth fixing, you should be fine. If you buy a unit from Keefe's, I suppose you'll be fine then as well. But if you have a unit that is old or is too much trouble, they will not fix it.
