We had our home serviced on Christmas Eve for a plumbing issue. The plumbers were unable to fix the problem that day and asked to return on Friday due to a Christmas lunch, which we understood and agreed to. However, after the plumber left my kitchen, I noticed my cabinets were stained with the same black, foul-smelling substance from the drain, and my floor was also damaged. When I asked the plumber and his supervisor, Darryl, whether the stains would come out, they seemed confused and offered no solution. My son and I tried to clean the cabinets, but the stains did not come out.
When I called to schedule the follow-up visit, I told the representative about the damage, and she said a supervisor would contact me. No one called me, but she did call my husband only to schedule the return visit. Again, we raised the issue of the damaged cabinets and were told the supervisor would come to the job site. The plumber completed the job, but no supervisor ever came. When my husband asked, the plumber said the supervisor was ‘too busy’ but that he would ‘stay on him.’
It has now been over a week with no contact from a supervisor. My husband spoke with someone from the company again, explained everything, and sent photos. We were told we would hear from a supervisor, yet more than five hours has passed with no response—though our payment was promptly taken from our account.
At this point, it feels like this company does not respect its customers or their homes. We paid nearly $1,700 for plumbing work and were left with damaged kitchen cabinets and flooring and no effort to make things right. The plumber even tried to blame us, claiming the substance was all over the kitchen because we put it in the sink. We have had this same type of work done in the past without any mess left behind, and the second technician who came out was careful—he used a mat to protect the floor and worked neatly.
Customers should be able to trust that their home will be left in the same condition it was in when the company arrived. This technician did not do that and appeared more focused on getting to lunch than on protecting our property. I would urge others to proceed with caution and pay close attention to the company’s 3.6 rating before choosing to use their services.”
