  I have used and trusted Dauterive for over a year, but my latest encounter with them forces my hand to write this review. Dauterive is a local and family-owned business, and that's why I liked supporting them. That being said, the owners, Ray (female) and Renee (male), were beyond obstinate about their hourly rate (which they do not provide unless you ask upfront). Per my photo, anyone can see the first line item states the issue was resolved upon the technician's arrival. So, for the seven to eight minutes, they spent chit chatting at my house and flushing our toilet over and over. We were charged $185.00 I called the office today, thinking surely it was a mistake but was met with an unapologetic Ray and no offer of reducing my bill or applying some of it towards my next invoice. I had three plumbing companies scheduled for this issue: 1. Natal's ($95) call-out fee and the money are applied to any work that needs to be done. They work after-hours and on weekends 2. Bienvenu Brothers - $125 call-out fee with the same policy as Natal's 3. Dauterive- $185 call-out fee, none of the money is applied to any work performed. I foolishly trusted this company for over a year because every other time, they've come. I've had a real issue and had to pay. Now I see just how much money I've put down the drain, pun intended. I will never call Dauterive plumbing again. The only thing I'll call them are thieves. Don't let them steal your money when there are so many great alternatives.

  The team who did the work at our house today were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, personable and professional. Very nice group of guys. My husband and I were very happy with their work, they answered any questions we had, and we will use this company in the future for any plumbing work we need done.

  I have used Dauterive Pluming for multiple jobs. I am totally satisfied with their work. The owner is an honest and trustworthy person to do business with.

  Not the sharpest tools in the shed. Also, don't stand by their work. Serviced water heater and within a year it wasn't working again. It took them 3 trips (3 days I had to miss work) for them to figure out how to fix it. They wanted to charge me to fix it again! Job security I guess. They also had trouble fixing my kitchen faucet. The owner is a nice guy but it stops there.
