  We decided to have a whole house generator installed on our house last May. Precision Mechanical was just one of many companies that we contacted for a quote. Summer impressed me from the start, she was so knowledgable and easily answered every question I asked. After we got the estimate, she continued answering any and all questions we asked her, whether through email, text, or phone calls. Ben was one of the electricians who installed the generator, he was also knowledgable and easily answered questions. Ben and his helper (can't remember his name) even ran an extension cord for my fan off of their power pack so I could have some air blowing when the electricity was shut off. Shortly after the install, we had a major amount of rain fall in a short amount of time. My husband was out of town and I was freaking out because the water was running over the concrete slab the generator was on. I sent the videos to my husband and we were both in contact with Summer, who promptly responded back to us every time we contacted her. Summer and the service manager, Bobby, drove out to my house and not only explained to me, but they physically showed me how high the water would have to get in my yard to get up inside the generator. (It is pretty much impossible). In this day and age, it's rare to find a company that has great customer service. But Precision Mechanical is top notch with customer service from the first phone call to inquire about an estimate, to the technician coming out to do the semi-yearly service, and everything in between. We highly recommend Precision Mechanical Power Services.

  We have nothing but wonderful things to say about precision mechanical power services. We have had fast responses, consistent help and knowledge from them for years now. Bobby Davis has been incredibly helpful and we’re very grateful. Highly recommend!

  Took my portable generator in because it would not start and it would backfire when you tried to crank it . They could not start it either so they sprayed starter fluid in the carburetor and got it cranked and charged me $ 150.00 diagnostic fee and said nothing was wrong with it. When I went to pick it up it still would not crank but I had to pay the $ 150.00 dollars to pick it up . I carried it to another mechanic and he found the exhaust valve was burned . $ 150.00 for nothing I would not recommend this place at all and yes every one at your shop knew it would not start , your tech tried to crank it also

  Chase Hamilton was very helpful in explaining details of the maintenance process and described what to look for as the homeowner to identify possible problems that could cause major problems in the future. After all it is called preventative maintenance and hopefully not breakdown maintenance.
