  I’ll be honest — I don’t love washing windows. But thanks to Window World of Paducah, at least the ones I have to wash are absolutely worth it. Over ten years ago, I had 11 of the 13 windows on the upper level of my home, plus one in the walkout basement, replaced with Window World windows — and I couldn’t be happier with them. They look and operate exactly as they did the day they were installed. The craftsmanship and quality of the installation speak for themselves: the relentless hot and cold air drafts that used to sneak in during extreme weather? Gone. The outside noise that used to drift in uninvited? Significantly reduced. These windows have been quiet, efficient, and steadfast performers — much like a good employee, only with better insulation. Interestingly, several of the windows that were replaced during that original project were Andersen windows — so this isn’t my first rodeo with making the switch. Which brings me to my current situation: I have two high-end wooden Andersen windows in my kitchen and dining room that I plan to replace with Window World windows during an upcoming renovation. While Andersen does offer a lifetime guarantee as well, I’ve had nothing but frustration trying to get customer support since they closed their southern Illinois location. A broken crank mechanism on two windows turned into a saga, and one panel of our dining room window has remained completely unopenable for over a decade. At this point, that window and I have simply agreed to disagree. Recently, I reached out to Window World of Paducah to get a quote on replacing the remaining four original windows in my basement. I had the pleasure of working with Scott Swalls, one of their sales staff — who also happens to be a good friend. Scott is as knowledgeable as he is personable, and the experience was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. It’s rare to work with someone who makes the process feel effortless, and Scott did exactly that. I also plan to replace my solid wooden garage door with a lightweight insulated door from Window World of Paducah as soon as they start selling them — so consider this my official petition, Mike!

  We desperately needed a new storm door. Scott showed us our options and we chose one with the screen-away feature. It works wonderfully. When we want to let fresh air in or when it is closed up tightly, it has proven to be a great choice!.
