Called Hendricks yesterday after having some septic issues. They came out today and pumped my septic tank. My neighbor decided to get hers done as well and we both received a discount. They were very reasonably priced and so polite. Highly recommend!

Called Hendricks yesterday and Stevie came out today and got the job done. I was not having any problems - just needed to get it cleaned out. Stevie was so friendly and had the job done in no time. I could not believe the price. I expected it to be twice as high. Even gave me a senior discount! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Frequently Asked Questions About Hendricks Septic Tank Service Inc.
How often should I have my septic system pumped?
The state recommends septic tank pumping every three to five years. The specific frequency depends on factors such as the size of your household, water usage patterns, and the capacity of your septic tank.
What are some signs that my septic tank needs to be serviced?
Indicators that your septic system may require servicing include slow-draining fixtures, gurgling sounds in pipes, unpleasant sewage odors, backups in plumbing, and unusually wet or soggy areas in your yard.
What can I flush or put down drain?
Only toilet paper and wastewater should enter your septic system. Avoid introducing wipes (including those labeled as 'flushable'), grease, chemicals, feminine hygiene products, and food waste into the system.
How long does a septic pump appointment take?
A typical septic cleaning service takes between 30 to 60 minutes to complete. The exact duration varies based on the size of your tank and how easily it can be accessed.
Will you have to dig up my yard during septic services?
If your septic tank has an accessible riser, no digging is necessary. In cases where the tank lid is not readily accessible, some minor excavation may be required to locate and access it.
What is a septic inspection, and is it necessary?
A septic inspection involves examining the tanks, lines, and overall condition of your septic system. It is advisable to conduct an inspection when purchasing a home, after experiencing major plumbing issues, and periodically every few years for maintenance purposes.
How can I extend a septic system's lifespan?
To prolong the life of your septic system, ensure regular pumping, avoid using harsh chemicals, practice water conservation, and prevent vehicles from driving over the drain field area.
How much does a septic pumping cost?
The cost for septic cleaning services provided by Hendricks Septic Tank Service Inc. generally ranges from $265 to $360.
