  Just had a new roof installed by HKC. This is the second roof they have done for me. The last one was 18 years ago. Hail damage is the only reason we needed a new one. The crew busted it out in one day, well before dark. Great group of roofers, they worked together seamlessly, it was a joy to watch. And the price was the lowest of the three I got. I could not have had a better experience.

  I was informed by King contracting that I needed a roof due to hail damage that occurred in March. I asked the rep to come back the next day to speak with both my husband and myself to go over things.. made arrangements and rep did not show or call . We then called another roofing company who looked at our roof and advised we did not have hail damage and did not need a roof .. at this point I’m like what the heck. I then called HKC roofing to inspect my roof . David cooper came out and thoroughly checked my roof , siding and gutters .. Mr. Cooper also stated I did not need a roof nor did we gave Any hail damage . I want to Thank HKC roofing for their thoroughness and honesty . I appreciate it so much and would definitely recommend them for an Honest opinion!

  Edited to add response: Matter of fact, I did reach out to my roofing representative Stephen the day after the roof was started to talk about dissatisfaction with the process. I have the text messages as proof. A month or so goes by and after reaching out to the district manager I received a text from Ed asking me to call him in which I responded asking for all communication to be in writing due to hearsay with the initial contract not being as promised in person, leading to the second contract. No written communication was received afterwards. 7 months later, The issues stemmed from HKC have been fixed via another company, I am still storing supplies that were left by HKC and no written communication has been received. There was an additional email with pictures sent by me to note additional damage done during install after I had a contractor come review the mess including but not limited to, sideways shingles and shingles falling off, damaged vinyl from roofers carelessness, the hvac vent being shifted upon roof scraping requiring more work from a different company to fix my now CO2 leak inside the house putting my family in danger, water leak in the attic requiring drywall repair to ceiling, just to name a few. 0 stars, will involve attorney if needed Do not recommend! Ongoing issues with the roof install, holes in my vinyl siding from installers dropping equipment from the roof, paint splatter everywhere that was not properly cleaned and did not come off with pressure washing, b vent knocked loose during install causing carbon monoxide to leak into my home and a hefty bill to have my furnace moved to fix the problem, materials and roofing nails left scattered in drive way and throughout yard causing a flat tire, sideways shingles due to laziness of installers and terrible, terrible communication from the company. I reached out with my complaints immediately after install and again 6 weeks ago with pictures of the issues which was cc’d to the QC manager and sales manager and have yet to receive any response from anyone. I thought they were a reputable company and did my research before hiring them but apparently they have changed owners recently and the company has gone down hill since!
