  I’ve had ongoing issues with A+ Derr Heating & Cooling since getting a new system installed in October 2025. Right out of the box, the AC unit had a defective part. When they came out to fix it, they showed up unannounced without ever scheduling the visit with me. Unfortunately, I also trusted them to install a mini split system in my home in March, which I now regret. Less than a month after installation, it has begun rattling loudly at medium and higher speeds—something that was not happening before. Fast forward to this month for my first routine A/C unit maintenance, and the same problems continue. The maintenance was not properly completed—the outdoor condenser was still full of leaves and debris from last fall. That’s basic service that should have been done. When I tried to follow up, I was told they would call to schedule a return visit. Instead, they once again showed up unannounced without confirming anything. On top of that, I was told the unit had been cleaned, which simply isn’t true—you can clearly see debris still sitting in the unit. I was also told a manager would call me back, which never happened. I also sent an email to customer care last week outlining all of these concerns and received no response. At this point, it’s a clear pattern: unannounced visits, incomplete work, poor communication, and no accountability when issues are raised. It genuinely feels like they don’t care about their customers once the install is done.

  Lafonzo was a Very Knowledgeable Gentleman & Very Friendly! He Introduced him Self Properly and was very Professional throughout the Whole Experience!! I Highly Recommend this Gentleman For your HVAC needs!! He answered the Questions I had for Him! The I ONLY reason he Got a 5 Star is because they didn’t offer a 10 Star!

  After the initial $99 service call and estimate I was promised an estimate the following Monday. Two weeks went by no estimate. After calling the office, they promised an estimate within a few days, after two weeks no estimate after a third call and was promised to get to the bottom of the problem I’ve still not heard from them. I will be moving to another service company.

  A+ Derr did a great job installing my new gas furnace and 17 SEER air-conditioning unit. They were very professional, kind, and efficient. I look forward to using my new HVAC system In my new home. They also installed a similar unit in my current home about three years ago. The maintenance Team on that system has been wonderful and Alfonso has been especially kind. Thank you, Tanner for installing my new unit and keeping me up-to-date with how the installation was going.
