The technician that came out, called ahead of time and was very nice on the phone and showed up on time. He did a very good job with looking at my HVAC and unit for the inspection. When it was time to give me a quote, he walked out to the car and was in his van for almost an hour without giving me a heads up that it would take that long. So I was waiting in my house and couldn’t leave to run errands and do other things while he was sitting and eating a granola bar and it looked like he was talking on the phone and laughing. I can understand that quotes can take some time and he may have needed to talk to some people, but when he came back, the quote was just adding in a sponge To the drip tray, so that nothing grows. that is why I’m getting in a three out of five stars

The comfy club is a joke. I get clean bill of health on the hvac inspection, yet the a/c is not blowing cold air. Technician states wire is leaking and to rewire is $400. When testing the a/c it still was blowing warm air. Tech takes thermostat off and uses his wires and a/c is blowing cold air. Checked heat and warm air. Tech says the issue is the thermostat and quotes $790 for new thermostat and labor. Did not have the work done. Also my original appointment the week before was a no show. Apparently you have too many customers on the comfy club and not enough staff to accommodate emergencies and club inspections.

After several issues with this company in the past, I ended up having to use them again out of need to get someone out quickly. They came and said the system was low on coolant and needed to perform a leak down test- they put dye in the system and charged me $800 and said they’d be back in two weeks. I asked the tech to ball park how much it would be to fix a leak, they told me anywhere from $1400-$4000. I had another company come out the next day and find no leaks with a sniffer but did find a bunch of dye “spilled” in the unit. I called Fayette heating/air to get a copy of my invoice and to find out if they put coolant in the system- they said they’d call back to let me know but never did. The invoice wasn’t itemized at all- just said the system was low on coolant, put dye in. $800. The second opinion pulled fault codes and found none having to do with low coolant. Sounds like an untrustworthy company to me. AVOID!!

Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company. RUN! don't walk away. They will do the job wrong, refuse to fix it, and lie every step of the way. They have "Service" managers and "Customer Service" managers that clearly do not understand the meaning of those words. The only explanation for the 4.8 star average rating that I can imagine is paid reviews. If you engage their services you will regret it, as you will end up needing to hire another contractor to fix their mistakes.

Jordan came to our home on a Sunday morning from Lexington, which we are an hour away! Our AC unit was beyond repair and we wanted another quote. He did not ask us what the other company’s quote was before he gave us the numbers. He beat the other quote & gave us so many options while taking the time and compassion to give us the news gently. A new HVAC is a huge expense for homeowners, especially right now. Jordan was amazing & they are coming back in the morning to install our new unit. Extremely grateful for this company helping us as fast as possible as it is supposed to be in the 80’s this week!
