  We had a great experience with Kevin's Carpets when we had floor covering for 3 bedrooms. Even though we had a problem with our order, they made it right, the installers were great, and we even had them install the carpet in our daughter's home, as well!

  When our church was flooded, we reached out to Kevin’s Carpets. They were so very helpful in a very stressful time! We received an estimate from Diana very quickly. The pricing was great…so we were able to replace what was damaged in the lower section as well as purchase extra so the transition to the next level was seamless!! The install went well and the carpet is great for hiding any spills…🤩. We also were able to have extra sections of the carpet to replace if needed! We so appreciate Kevin’s Carpets!! It made a very disheartening circumstance a little easier to deal with and come out looking better than ever!

  Excellent workmanship. Great prices. So knowledgeable and easy to work with! Highly recommend! The flooring was exactly as we wanted. 3/4” hardwood in a dark color. Installation was perfect. Diana Holleran was our sales rep and she was fabulous to work with. We had them install both wood and carpeting. The workmanship met my commercial construction project manager’s satisfaction and he is a perfectionist!

  We had our entire home flooring replaced by Kevin's Carpets, using a combination of both wood and carpet. All flooring still looks great and we have been entirely happy with our choice. Not only do they have many options available but they treated us like family. We definitely plan to use them in the future for all of our flooring needs.

  UPDATE!!! I have been to your Tates Creek Centre store previously, before it closed. The middle aged woman working there was less than helpful or friendly. I took my business elsewhere. There are plenty of choices! Mr. Holleran, just wanted to make sure you saw that I took down my review, as your staff requested, once my good friend finally received her cash refund for the flooring order she made with you in August. As you are aware she really had to work to get her refund, especially initially, since the check she was given could not be cashed. In all fairness, tough times happen to everyone, sometimes it is worse than others and I understand these days that economic hard times can be extreme. More importantly, having lived in Lexington, KY all my life I know the importance of personal business recommendations. Being an avid reviewer of businesses and restaurants around the country and in Europe, I have found it helpful to read the experiences of other consumers and that influences my choices going forward so I'm not misled by a business. I know from experience that when a business gets a negative review and I see a consistent run of 5-star reviews that an owner, has asked their friends, etc to "write a review". I understand an owner can be defensive--you know, the knee jerk response! I'm sure you will agree with me, that behavior is dishonest. So, after deleting my original post, taken directly from the experience my good, strong faith, elderly friend shared with me, I felt compelled to share with you the true experiences I've had these past 17+ years of posting on Google. It is not "good business" to argue with a customer, the motto "the customer is always right", goes a long way in fostering goodwill within a community such as ours. I'm sure you know that. Most importantly your Google Reviewers, Kristen, Andi, EM, Laura, Elaine, Dina, Barb, Pamela, Morgan and Phillip (on Yelp) (all within this year) had taken time to explain what happened during their purchase of flooring from you and I trust their posts, the details they shared, and their humbling experience and concerns with a business owner that chose to argue the concerns they shared. This led me to update my review of your business practices. I hope you will rethink your attitude toward your customers, I'm sure it will go a long way in our community, especially since you have been in business so long in Lexington. Best wishes for better financial times!
