  Benjamin Zhuk come out and replaced our water heater and did an excellent job swapping them out. He was on time and took great care not to damage anything. He also cleaned up the area and made sure everything was cleaned up. He also made sure everything was working and there was no leaks and that the water heater was heating up and working fine. He was very polite and clean cut and did an excellent job.

  Justin and Ryan with Dauenhauer have been the best! I have had an issue with my unit for litterally years and no other technicians have been able to figure it out. It was tricky because the unit would only occasionally have the issue. Justin came out to do an evaluation initially and worked overtime testing everything that it could possibly be, even calling Ryan for help. The next visit they both came over and very quickly fixed the issue! Justin came back a second time after they fixed the initial issue to double check everything- and even found that my indoor garage unit was not sealed properly (something that no other technician has taken the time to notice) he then sealed it up and even created a small door to help me access my filter (while keeping it sealed). This is the first time my house has ever been warm in the winter. Both Justin and Ryan had to think outside the box to help find the issue. I hope whoever reads this from Dauenhauer gives them both a raise!

  WARNING DO NOT HIRE! These guys work on commission and only care about screwing you over. Our water heater stopped working because of a simple wire disconnection in the tank. Those guys couldn’t figure that out. Their plumber missed it and said it was an electrical problem(not enough voltage). Next day an Electrician (Randal Hollon) came out and told us we needed a new wire to run from our breaker panel to the heaters control panel. Charged us $525 and this was not the problem. When he finished he told me to try out the hot water but no hot water came. Turns out the Heater never turned on but the con artist switched course and told me it would now take a couple hours to start working. Me not knowing better let them leave and paid. 2 hours later I called back and they told me I’d have to wait another day to send someone else out putting us on 3 days no hot water. Unacceptable. I called Senninger plumbing (highly recommended) and they were there in 30 minutes. A kid half these other guys age came in diagnosed and fixed the disconnection on the heater in 10 minutes. The problem he fixed had absolutely nothing to do with the new wire ran by Randal Hollon. In fact it was in a completely different place meaning his “repair” was completely unnecessary. He stole my money and I’m in the process of trying to get a refund. Of course management wasn’t available to take my call regarding the matter forcing me to wait until at least tomorrow to get some resolution. Absolutely embarrassing sham of a company. Plumber missed a simple fix and the electrician conned me out of over $500. Save your money and use Senninger.

  I have been using Dauenhauer plumbing exclusively since 2012. This company is professional and has the expertise to do any job. I have called them in a panic over water leaks in a commercial parking lot, severely clogged drains, and all the other typical plumbing needs. Dauenhauer is a big company and in my opinion, only hires the best. The team can get to you quickly and get the job done. In my experience with them, I have felt like the pricing was definitely fair to me. The quality of the job has always been excellent.

  Dauenhauer Plumbing is one of the best Plumbing companies in Lexington today. No matter when you call, they always seem to find a way to have availability. They are very honest and straightforward with you about the job at hand and they do everything within their power to solve whatever issue you have. My current service technician Skyler was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about my project and the Plumbing Industry in general. Dauenhauer needs to hire and retain more Techs like him! Skyler was easily able to fix my old section of Galvanized steel pipes going to my water heater without having to go backwards and replace more and longer runs of galvanized steel! Dauenhauer is now my go to company for Plumbing and I recommend them for any Plumbing issues you have!
